The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . The corn chowder was over salted. Beef tartare was excellent. Dessert was awful (3 bite... sorbet, citrus cake & chocolate mousse, the cake & mousse part of dessert was like something out of the grocery store freezer).

Visited with wife, food & service was amazing! Cheff need to improve on duck dish since is good but not at same level exceptional of all other dishes & desserts, recomend tartine & creme brule but plate of the day (cod fish picture) was amazing. Service impecable..

Very good food & service. The goat cheese perfect, duck confit well done & sample of desserts fine. The local icewine was very special & very good with the desserts. A hint of maple syrup in the icewine. OWould definetly recommend this place for dinner of you like new french cusine.

Très bon service pour le repas mais au moment du dessert & des cafés, petites erreurs avec le mauvais dessert, pas de cuiller & les cafés qui n'étaient pas ceux demandées.

Très bonne bouffe, mais l'assiette de Filet mignon, manque de légumes !! Seulement 3 très petits carrés de pomme de terre & 3 petites lanières de courgettes. Trop peu pour le prix. Notre serveuse était très gentille & efficace, mais les autres qui sont venues à notre table nous posaient des questions (2 fois), pour nous enlever nos coupes de vin (on avait commandé du vin) & on buvait un cocktail avant. Les couteaux à steak & ustensiles de dessert n'arrivent pas en même temps, faut que la personne y retourne!! On a pris un café festif & l'autre serveuse nous a donné le nom d'un café qu'on avait pas commandé & on l'a pris pareil. Notre première serveuse est revenue pour nous dire que s'était finalement le bon. Erreur de l'autre serveuse. Je crois qu'elles ne se parlent pas avant de venir aux tables & il y a attente & confusion. Merci!

J'ai commandé la morue d'Islande! Elle était bien, mais que 2 très petits morceaux, maximum 3 onces en tout ! Je n'apprécie pas avoir encore faim après un repas au resto. Déception à ce niveau. Les desserts sont EXCELLENTS!
