The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

Nein. Zumindest mittags NICHT empfehlenswert. Man isst genauso gut und billiger im Supermarkt oder Imbiss. Hühnchenbein mit Pommes frites. Unglaublich!!!

Food was tasteful but rich. Wine list on a tablet which kept freezing & turning off, paper option would be convenient.
The service was very slow, seated at 7:45 & served main meal after 9.
Was recommended by a friend who lives in Quebec City, I think she will be very disappointed about our experience.

If you're looking for a calmer dining experience in Old Quebec, this spot is a great choice - noticeably quieter than many of its neighbors. The food pairings are creative, & the presentation is thoughtful & elegant. While a few dishes could use a bit more seasoning, you can tell the chef put genuine care into each plate. My advice: save room for the tonka bean crème brûlée. It's the perfect sweet ending.

The food came out quickly, hot & well presented. The service however was appalling. Guests were barely acknowledged, it was not busy but it took longer to place my order than for the food to be made. Server didn't know the difference between a chou pastry & filo pastry as she described the dessert feature (which she forgot to tell me about initially). Overall, not what I expected. Would not recommend, unless you have no time restraints & low expectations of service.

Ristorante discreto con posti a sedere interni ed esterni, accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile. Menu che spazia dal pesce alla carne , ottima qualità. Importante l'assortimento offerto nella carta dei vini, complimenti. Servizio ottimo , prezzo nella norma per qualità e location. Consigliato.

It was a rainy day so we visited the Museum of Civilization & popped by L'Échaudé right when they opened at 5pm. We had no reservation, but they were not busy at the opening hour. The food portion is small plates so we ordered a few dishes to share & they were delicious! We also ordered the tasting plate for two for dessert & that was a real treat.

We sat outside of the restaurant & the atmosphere was nice. The food was mediocre. We ordered the 3 surprise dishes (scallops, quiche, pork)… Not much flavour in the dishes. Not sure where the Michelin rating was from…very disappointed. Also, waitress was nice but she was upselling the set menu…may be that s/b a warning for us. Better off order the regular menu. One word…Disappointing
