Our evening at the Faux Berger was memorable from the beginning to the end. It was a unique & delicious experience with beautifully presented, original dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The team gave us enlightening stories/information regarding each dish which added to the warm ambience of the restaurant. We strongly suggest the wine pairing to accompany the meal. The evening was a culinary adventure & I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

The meal we had was quite extraordinary. I really appreciate how it is organized with everyone eating each of the 7 courses at the same time. Not only was it delicious, the explanation of each ingredient was interesting, informative & entertaining.

Cuisine délicieuse & locale (c'est vraiment appréciable de savoir d'où viennent les ingrédients de son assiette) & les chef.fes s'adaptent aux différents régimes alimentaires. Petit questionnement: les vins en accord ne venaient que d'Europe - pourquoi ne pas choisir du local également ?
Allez-y c'est une très belle expérience !

Great dining experience! Grab a reservation quickly if you can. The chefs guided the diners through a carefully created menu of 5 services. Great care is taken to use 98% locally grown & raised food ingredients. The flavours & textures in each course are amazing. Plenty of vegetables, & exquisite fish( arctic char- my fave) are used even though it was a meal in February. Example: from the fall harvest, corn was preserved & used in a cornbread & an emulsion! It takes great planning, creativity & foresight to be able to offer corn in a dish in February. We opted for the wine pairing. It's a must. The wines are carefully selected to perfectly pair with the food. We are planning to return in the height of the growing season for another dining experience.

Excellente expérience culinaire du Terroir! Recommandons vivement l'accord vin avec chaque service. Les hôtes donnent une ambiance conviviale & chaleureuse. Les plats sont bien travaillés & une brève description ainsi que provenance des ingrédients nous est donné avant.

Nous avons aimé notre expérience & trouvé plusieurs plats très savoureux.

L'environnement est séduisant, le décor bucolique, l'accueil à l'extérieur pour l'apéro, très chaleureux.

La salle à manger est par ailleurs très compacte, & le bruit ambiant peut devenir assourdissant.

Mieux vaut en être averti.

Aussi, les descriptions des plats song un peu longues. On comprend l'importance des ingrédients, des produits du terroir ou de proximité, rares & tout ça, mais on pourrait choisir de raccourcir certaines interventions pour alléger l'ambiance & permettre aux gens de manger chaud.

Quoi qu'il en soit, manger chez Faux Bergers reste une expérience en soi, à recommander assurément, car elle est tout à fait unique.

Imaginative menu made with joy & passion for local ingredients & those who grow & harvest them. It was not just a meal, it was a tour de force performance by knowledgeable & entertaining chef, his forager, sommelier & host. The best culinary experience of our stay - highly recommended!
