Vietnamese food review from a Viet. Found this little gem just outside the walls of old Quebec. Authentic pho taste, super pleasant staff, & charming atmosphere. The pho reminds me of having pho from mom or in Vietnam.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience chez GAO.

La nourriture était délicieuse, fraîche & pleine de saveurs. Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu notre visite spéciale, c'est la gentillesse du propriétaire.

Nous étions avec notre petite fille & il a été extrêmement attentionné : il lui a apporté une chaise adaptée, a ajusté ses baguettes pour qu'elle puisse les utiliser plus facilement, lui a donné une cuillère & a pris le temps de lui parler avec bienveillance.

On sent qu'il se soucie réellement de ses clients & qu'il aime ce qu'il fait.

Un véritable petit trésor à Québec. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

My husband & I went here for lunch. The place is small & the seating is a bit uncomfortable. He had dumplings & Bo Kho & said it was really tasty. I am gluten intolerant & the only thing they had that was gluten free was the Pho. It was ok. We found the restaurant to be overpriced. Good service.

The spring rolls were absolutely delicious, & the pho was one of the best I've had in Quebec City. The broth was rich & flavorful, & the ingredients tasted fresh. The restaurant was spotless & had a comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, & our server was so friendly & attentive throughout the meal. The restaurant itself was incredibly clean & beautifully decorated, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
