Extremely friendly restaurant after all these french restaurants in the old quebec city!!!! It's slightly different than traditional Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal or toronto, less variety but we have nothing to complain. A bowl of pho completed my day! Thank you!

Le pho était incroyablement succulent. J'habite à Vancouver où il y a beaucoup plus d'options, donc je ne m'attendais pas à grand chose, mais j'ai été surpris, c'est du même niveau que les meilleurs phos de Vancouver, sinon mieux!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gao. It has swiftly become my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the slick & inviting atmosphere. The modern yet cozy decor creates a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pho, which is hands down the best I have ever had. The beef was incredibly fresh & tender, melting in my mouth with each bite. The rice noodles were of exceptional quality, perfectly cooked to provide that ideal balance of chewiness & softness. Adding fresh chili (which the server provided upon request) elevated the broth to another level, offering a pleasant kick without overpowering the delicate flavors. The accompaniments were just as impressive. The bean sprouts were exceptionally fresh, thick, & crunchy, adding a delightful texture to the soup. It's clear that Gao takes great care in sourcing high-quality ingredients, & it truly makes a difference. Service at Gao was also commendable. The staff were very pleasant & attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met without being intrusive. Their genuine warmth & efficiency added to the overall positive experience. In summary, Gao delivers an outstanding dining experience with top-notch pho, high-quality ingredients, & excellent service. Whether you're a pho aficionado or new to Vietnamese cuisine, Gao is a must-visit. I look forward to returning & exploring more of their menu.

C'était vraiment super bon. Très bon service. Cadre très agréable. Le seul bémol c'est la soupe pho au boeuf, pour que ce soit une authentique soupe pho il faut les 3 types de boeuf : saignant, cuit & boulette. mais ça reste tout de même super en tout cas j'ai pas trouver mieux a Québec. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande 👍

Excellente soupe pho ! Le personnel est très accueillant & agréable. Le restaurant est très propre. Il manquait un peu d’herbes aromatiques à mon goût mais sinon le bouillon de la soupe était délicieux je me suis régalée.

Here is the best place to eat pho. If you have hangover, you must come & eat pho. The perfect restaurant. I wanna come again I live in Vancouver though. Gonna miss here. Thx for my last meal in Quebec !
