Belle découverte ce soir! Le resto bien rempli & pourtant, nous avons reçu un service rapide. La soupe tonkinoise est de loin LA meilleure de la Ville.

This was the first restaurant we tried in Quebec, & it made a great first impression.
The broth was noticeably sweet, & the turmeric noodle soup had a nice garlic flavor, which was quite unique.
Overall, a very enjoyable meal - would recommend.

Tout les plats étaient délicieux ! La journée que j'y suis allée le service était un peu chaotique. J'ai dû demander: de nettoyer la table, demander de l'eau, des ustensiles & pour finir une cuillère pour ma soupe mais sinon le personnel étaient gentils, juste peut-être pas habitués quand il y à beaucoup de personnes. Aucune attente par contre pour recevoir mes plats. J'y reviendrai!

Came across this Vietnamese restaurant when we strolling down the old quater. Decided to give it a try . We ordered 2 Pho (1 chicken & 1 beef). They are served with a plate of beanspouts & some basil leaves..soup are very tasty. When the weather is cool outside..all you need is a bowl of Pho. Staffs are friendly & nice. Restaurant has bright & homely decor. Love all of it. Thanks for delighting our day with your bowls of Pho.

Je fréquente le resto Gao comptoir vietnamien depuis ses débuts dans les années 80 qui avait ouvert sous le nom de La Campagne; je suis né dans le quartier il y a plusieurs décennies
C'est un resto ou j'ai passé parmi les beaux moments de ma vie. Au fil des ans, j'ai connu toute la famille de Phan Dao & sa conjointe & leur fille qui en est propriétaire maintenant. J'apprécie particulièrement la nourriture de l'endroit. Au fil des ans, j'ai essayé tous les menus & je les apprécie tous notamment leurs soupes repas. Leur accueil a toujours été digne de mention.
Merci beaucoup à toute la famille pour leur dévouement afin de faire de ce lieu un des endroits d'exception pour la nourriture & l'accueil dans le quartier St Jean-Baptiste

Très bien ce petit restaurant hors zone touristique.
La déco est moderne, les couleurs claires, tout est net & propre. Le service est sympa & la cuisine est délicieuse: nems croustillants, soupe mi xa xiu parfumée & nourrissante.
28$ par personne avec taxes & service, expresso inclus. On valide !

The food was authentic & tasted delicious. We had pho & lemongrass pork chops with rice, as well as a Mi-Quang noodle soup, pork dumplings & a Vietnamese iced coffee. The price was reasonable & the food came quickly. Total was close to $20 per person. We would come again.

Cute spot for a quick pho soup. Beef pho was great. Great soup broth & nice Vietnamese iced tea. One little comment about food options, I wish they could have adding toppings to pho. I really like meatballs & they could not add it to my noodles soup. But that's ok.
