My wife & I were very satisfied. Friendly staff, our server was very nice. Our food was very comforting & delicious. Would love to return. Nothing fancy inside but the meal & the service is a 5 Star. Thank you so much.

Happily ran into this restaurant when visiting Quebec. Honestly, one of the best meals I've had during my short trip there. It was so good, we had to go back for another meal before we headed back home. Location is perfect & restaurant is super cozy. Service was a 10/10 & owner made us feel right at home. Food was flavorful & the Vietnamese Iced Coffee was amazing.

Vietnamese here. Ordered a Bun Cha Gio, the rolls are crispy & tastes fresh. Lots of meat & the portion is perfect for me. The staff is super friendly & makes the atmosphere enjoyable :) highly recommend

Really awesome restaurant to come to in Quebec City!!! Staff is friendly! Atmosphere is awesome! Food is delicious! Price & portion size is very reasonable! Strongly recommended to any visitors as you can get stuffed without breaking your bank!!!

Le pho était incroyablement succulent. J'habite à Vancouver où il y a beaucoup plus d'options, donc je ne m'attendais pas à grand chose, mais j'ai été surpris, c'est du même niveau que les meilleurs phos de Vancouver, sinon mieux!

Savoureux & service impeccable! Mention spéciale à notre serveuse, Chloé! Nous y étions allées il y a 15 ans & avions adoré! Le resto à été repris par la fille du propriétaire avec un nouveau décor & un comptoir de prêt à manger. Le succès de cette adresse se traduit par la transmission du savoir en cuisine & par une petite carte parfaitement maîtrisée! Constance dans la saveur des plats & prix abordables. Je recommande sans réserves!

Une très belle découverte!! Les plat sont au dessus de mes attentes!! Leur poulet General Tao est super. Leur Thé vert maison est parfait. Les portion sont généreuses à souhait! J'y reviendrai c'est sur!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gao. It has swiftly become my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the slick & inviting atmosphere. The modern yet cozy decor creates a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pho, which is hands down the best I have ever had. The beef was incredibly fresh & tender, melting in my mouth with each bite. The rice noodles were of exceptional quality, perfectly cooked to provide that ideal balance of chewiness & softness. Adding fresh chili (which the server provided upon request) elevated the broth to another level, offering a pleasant kick without overpowering the delicate flavors. The accompaniments were just as impressive. The bean sprouts were exceptionally fresh, thick, & crunchy, adding a delightful texture to the soup. It's clear that Gao takes great care in sourcing high-quality ingredients, & it truly makes a difference. Service at Gao was also commendable. The staff were very pleasant & attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met without being intrusive. Their genuine warmth & efficiency added to the overall positive experience.
