Super ambience & bon service ! 🙂
Les drinks sont délicieux! 10/10
I'll start with the positives, the service was really good as well as atmosphere of the place. The food however, was really disappointing. We had a Ramen itch & it didn't scratch it at all. I got to shoyu Ramen, which after the first few bites tasted good enough cause I was hungry, but as I got to the middle of the bowl, I felt like the broth was subpar in terms of quality. My wife got the miso Ramen with salmon cutlet (which could've been our fault in retrospect) which completely disintegrated into the miso broth creating this weird lumpy, salty soup…
Maybe the izakaya next door is worth a try instead 👍🏽
The miso ramen was great, especially the chashu that was amazing.
The tantanmen ramen was average, especially the PVT.. not a fan. Also I wouldn't take the chili crisp again, & I found the lobster appetizer to lack lobster (I'm not sure I had a piece in both of mine).
I'm still giving it 5* since the miso was great & so was the service.
The miso bowl was the perfect way to warm up on a chilly day in Quebec City! Highly recommend.
We had miso & shoyu ramen plus karaage & pork shumai. Ramen soup was legitimately tasty & very generous amount excellent quality shiitake mushroom. The three slices of chashu were succulent (the fat melts in your mouth), thick & the most generous we have ever seen. You don't need to add extra! Unfortunately, the noodle was over cooked. The karaage was unfortunately hard & dry (note they put lots of white mayo sauce on top - no mention on menu). Pork shumai was tasty but didn't expect them to come sitting in a sauce (no mention on the menu).
The place was very cozy with a variety of places to sit. Very nice lighting during the day. The miso ramen was absolutely delicious & it was an enormous portion. The ramen bowl came with a little dessert & a marinated vegetable appetizer. 10/10 service very fast.
