I would HIGHLY suggest the tasting menu. We were served 11 dishes (counting the rice & the tortillas), we were 3 people & it cost around $45-$50 per person. Please note the servings & price can change based on the chef's decision for that night. Each dish was served with a description from the waitress. (Service was excellent). Everyone that approached our table spoke English & were always smiling. You DO require to reserve in advance since they do not take any walk-ins. The food was excellent, not all flavours & spices were Indian flavours but the combination was great. They would replace paneer with cheese curds for example, & the Vindaloo isn't spicy. We will surely go back, we enjoyed our evening
We were initially a bit worried about being placed at the bar. But that proved to be the best seat in the house. Simon, the bartender took such good care of us. Watching him make everyone's drinks was so entertaining. He was so attentive to everyone sitting at the bar, you could tell how much he loves what he does. The food was next level. Such great takes on Indian Fusion cuisine. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend seating at bar, & letting Simon choose your drinks & meals.
Had an amazing experience last night. We went with low expectations but the Indo-Quebec fusion food blown our mind. We tried samosa chaat, paani puri, palak, bharta etc & each dish had a unique taste & not typical indian flavor. Our server Simonè was very pleasant & so easy to talk. Merci Simonè for your great hospitality.
When we checked in. We were surprised by not seeing any Indian chef. This set our tone from the beginning thinking how this could be an Indian restaurant. Sorry for having a prejudice here but I have not come across such setup. Then came the next disappointment as the server walked in with limited menu it was only 1 page & there were only few vegetarians & vegan dishes to choose from. We talked to ourselves let's bailout may be just order few things like an appetizer & bounce to some other place. So we placed an order for "pakora" & "samosa chat". Server asked me a question is that enough for three of you & I said yeah. Then comes the googly of our evening. The pakora was refreshing & chaat was with a twist the samosa was not like readymade that we generally get in all Indian restaurants, We were bowled over. We ordered everything that was on the menu as vegetarian & vegan. It was amazing experience. The flavor was rich & infused with creativity. They used many different produce to come up with Indian recipes that are very unique take for an example a gol gappa was total winner Palak was really good, Bharta was outstanding. The tawa roti was very small & I could feel like I can have 15-20 off those. It was wonderful experience to end our trip on happy note & belly full of good Indian food. God bless you guys keep up cooking good food. Next time when I come to Quebec I am going to see you guys without taking any chance. Au revoir! till then
Note to people going: this is a no walk-in restaurant. Book before going. IT IS SO WORTH IT!! The best dining experience I've had in a LONG TIME! a beautiful Indian cuisine mixed with quality products of our beautiful province. Indian food like you have never experienced it. The cocktails are a must try! Their version of the Long Island ice tea is completely divine if you're into that kind of drink. The best part of the night was the service by our waiter Olivier. Incredible service, went over & beyond expectation. We had a lot of fun with him!
Please make reservations online as they don't entertain walk-ins. This is a fusion restaurant with indian & western food which is no-where near indian. Please keep an open mind when coming here. Food was below average, small portions & not tasteful. Staff is very good & the vibe is good inside.
Amazing Indian-Quebec fusion food! We had the tasting/degustation menu which gave us 4 starters/snacks & 3 main course portions (size adjusted for the number of plates) & was amazing & very good value for money. Lovely service & cocktail too!
exceptional customer service & innovative "fusion" Indian cuisine at this restaurant. Approach with an open mind, as the menu diverges from typical items like paneer butter masala, biryani, & garlic naan. I'm thrilled we tried the Indian-inspired fusion dishes-this is the truest form of modern twists to Indian food in Quebec. Just trust them & go with the flow! 🙌😇
This place is a jewel of a restaurant. The staff is friendly & it shows they are happy to work together. The service is textbook perfect & the best we have had in a long time. We were seated at the bar & loved it because you can chat with the bartender & be entertained by their skills. Make sure to taste at least one cocktail, they are very good! The best way to describe their cuisine is Indian flavors with local ingredients. We had the tasting menu & we highly recommand it. I'm vegetarian & my boyfriend sometimes eats meat. The waiter ordered the best balance of mostly vegetarian, with two dishes where boyfriend had meat & I had vegetarian. If you have allergies or dislike something, they will easily adjust. The food is plentiful, we were stuffed. All in all, everything was exquisite, can't wait to go back!
A gem of a place. I was fortunate to secure a reservation as it is mandatory & they don't accept walk in. I was drafted at the bar, very comfortable, very friendly staff & he made me a nice cocktail immediately. The food was delicious (can't believe the food is made & the restaurant is run by a group of French guys with no Indian human around). Baigan Bartha & Daal were my favourite. Best vada Pav I have had. Must try when in Quebec City.
