We came here after having a terrible day driving in the snow & this place made the day a little better for us. We started the night with drinks( turtle & Indian mule). Food vise we had the Puri, Palak Bergeron with chapati , Achari Tikka & Kheer Brule. Every dish was unique & tasted great. One of the best fusion indian food I've eaten in North America. Don't come here expecting traditional indian food & you won't be disappointed! We remembered to only take a picture of the dessert, .

Je suggère vivement de prendre le menu dégustation, plus de 6 plats différents seront servis, & absolument aucun d'entre eux ne nous a déçu.
Le personnel est absolument passionné, & ils sont très ouverts à faire des demandes spéciales, par exemple substituer des plats pour d'autres, des options végé, etc.
Le seul petit bémol est que la salle est petite, & étant donné que c'est un restaurant populaire sous réservation seulement, c'est toujours plein, & donc un peu bruyant, sans pour autant être irritant.
C'est un must sur la scène de restauration de Québec!
Une ambiance chaleureuse & décontractée. Nous avons trouvé la cuisine du restaurant très créative, un mélange d'ingrédients de chez nous avec des saveurs de l'Inde que nous avons reconnues, mais aussi, il nous a semblé, des goûts tout à fait uniques. Pour nous, le menu de dégustation que nous avons choisi, a été un moment d'exploration & de découverte. Nous avons gouté aux 4 vins servis aux verres, ils étaient originaux & savoureux.
I want more! More from the menu please if I may!! Will have to return to Quebec City to try this gem of a restaurant.. definitely will be our first stop next visit. We just walked into this restaurant past 11 pm for drinks as we were not ready to end the night. It happened to be right across our hotel & let me tell you how impressed i was at the atmosphere, the energy & the warm inviting service ! Wait that's not all! My curiosity got to me as I looked at the menu online & so I asked if the kitchen was still open.. we asked for pani puri.. received Seabuckthorn Puri instead & it DID NOT disappoint! Was so sooo good.. what a pop of different flavors in one shot.. its a unique twist on the dahi puri. Excellent !! The bar is bumpin' !!! Old school music & little of French pop ( new for us Torontonions) .. perfect for a Saturday night out! This place hit the spot ! 👌
Magistral! C'était une première pour nous & certainement pas la dernière. Les saveurs, wow! Chaque plat avait sa touche unique. Un service chaleureux, qui nous met confortable dès les premiers instants. On a envie de référer le Kundah Hotel dans notre entourage parce qu'on sait qu'ils vivront une expérience mémorable. Ce n’est pas un hôtel mais un restaurant indien de Québec qui marie habilement les ingrédients locaux du Québec avec les saveurs riches de la cuisine indienne.
Le Kundah Hotel offre une expérience absolument délicieuse. Les plats qu'ils servent ne sont pas seulement délicieux, mais aussi un délice visuel, éclatant de couleurs vibrantes & d'une présentation soigneusement pensée.
Je vous recommande vivement cet endroit qui est sincèrement que c'est un incontournable de la ville. En plus, l’équipe de ce restaurant est incroyable & saura rendre votre expérience culinaire des plus agréables & dynamiques.

I have waited more than a month to write this review, to test if I still remember the flavours, & I do! I have visited the restaurant along with my wife on our way back to Halifax. We have a very critical attitude when it comes to food as it has to meet not only the taste but also be healthy & unique. We ordered some dishes that suit our South Indian taste buds & we were taken away by surprise as each one of the orders gave us more than we expected. It was ingenious to use local ingredients to substitute for the ingredients from India. For example, using Rhubarb in place of tamarind for sourness, using softened squashes with crispness to substitute for Indian crispy savoury “Tikka Chat” & making it much healthier than the original recipe, not hesitating to use rich ingredients such as cashew, were a few of those experiences. I fell in love with the palak paneer where the chef used alternative lighter cheese, taking away my hatred towards traditional paneer which is usually quite heavy. All this at a very reasonable price too.
I see a dedication to offer the best food to customers & showing respect for the Chef/Owner Raphael’s Grandad in naming the restaurant “Kundah”. I have recommended this restaurant to my friends & family members & will definitely visit it in the future when I visit Quebec City. I wish the team all the Best!
