We loved this bakery so much that we came back two mornings in a row! The croissants & pain au chocolat were excellent-fresh, flaky, & delicious. The coffee was great too. We'll definitely be back the next time we're visiting Québec City

Our go to place for breakfast during our short stay in QC. Their selection of viennoiserie was stunning & I wish I had more time to try different items. The Pain Suisse I tried was extremely filling but really nice.
The cappuccino was amazing, the right balance of coffee (& relative strength) & milk & foam. 😍
We also tried their sandwiches, freshly made, & they were very very tasty!

I had a wonderful experience at La Boîte à Pain. Everything felt fresh, authentic, & made with care. The pastries were buttery & delicious, the bread had excellent texture & flavor, & the coffee was perfectly prepared.

The atmosphere is warm, cozy, & very welcoming, a perfect place to relax, enjoy breakfast, or take a break while exploring Quebec City. The staff were friendly, patient, & provided excellent service even during busy hours.

You can really feel the quality of the ingredients & the passion behind the food. Whether you are looking for a quick coffee, fresh croissants, sandwiches, or artisan bread, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended for both locals & tourists!

The only small thing to note: if you order a large café latte, it may be served in a bowl-style cup without a handle, which can be a little difficult to hold & drink from while it's still very hot. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Ever go to a cafe where the food & coffee are so good that you are extra polite just to ensure you will be welcome back? This is that place, the food is amazing & the coffee was superb. I may need to find a reason to live here. Life altering.

I took a latte & the smoked salmon sandwich. There were both just ok! I sat there to work a bit & around lunch rush it started smelling like burnt bacon. There are much nicer coffee shops in the area.

The sandwiches, croissants, & coffees are excellent! We're in town for just a few days, & this is likely to be our _de_facto_ breakfast spot!
