Wonderful food & drinks. Service couldn't have been better. Had both breakfast & dinner there. Atmosphere was great: bubbly, cozy, fun. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
A gem in the center of Quebec. Super central & yet sooo good. Foos was brilliant & the service outstanding. Nothing too hard for the staff, they're hyper focus on delivering the best experience for their guests. Highly recommended!
5/5 Stars! We had an absolutely delightful dinner experience at La Buchette! This charming restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating - especially with our kid! The menu offered a great selection of French-inspired dishes that catered to both adults & children. The standout dishes for us were the French onion soup (rich, flavorful, & perfectly caramelized) & the cheese fondue ( creamy, indulgent, & utterly addictive). The cocktails were also expertly crafted & delicious! What truly made our evening special, however, was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, & went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return to La Buchette & experience it all again! I had an amazing experience at Restaurant LA BUCHETTE. Even though I arrived just half an hour before closing, the staff were incredibly friendly & professional. The food was delicious, with great portions & flavor, & it was served quickly. The interior design was beautiful, & everything was very clean. I will definitely be coming back, & I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
My family decided to meet up from 3 different cities & visit old Quebec City to take in the sights for a few days. Each day we ventured out to various shops, pubs & restaurants. They were all pretty good, but the one place that stood out as the highlight of our trip was "La Buchetta". It was busy when we arrived but managed to get a table. Within no time we found ourselves joking around & interacting with one of the staff Charles. He did everything just right to make us feel welcome, & truly went out of his way to make sure our visit was a pleasant one. The food was exceptional, which matched the decor, & the staff. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone, & will be the first place I revisit when I get a chance to return to Quebec City. Thanks again Charles for your hospitality & the fantastic experience at La Buchetta!
We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, & the ambiance was perfect. We only had wine & the cold meat board, but it was loaded, & the two of us were so full by the end! Highly recommend.
After a wonderful day of walking this beautiful city, we indulged in a guided walking/food sampling tour (highly recommend) & circled back to La Buchette. The service & quality of offerings was the perfect ending to our day, Special kudos to Joe as bartender extraordinaire, who provided a special + to our time at La Buchette.
On a recent girl's trip we had the great pleasure of stopping into La Buchette for supper. We had tried to get into another restaurant but a large line up proved to be our good fortune as we moved on looking for a place to eat. La Buchette, with its sweet blue & white gingham covered tables, beckoned to us. The food & drinks were amazing. We started with a cheese & charcuterie board that was plentiful with a good variety of meats & cheeses, along with a scrumptious fig jam. Then we ordered the Arctic Char Tartare, the Waygu Burger & the Lobster Ravioli & we were not disappointed. Each dish was well prepared & delicious. Both the red & white Sangria were delicious & the special drink, Passion Quebecois, was a real experience. Our waitress extraordinaire, Arielle, was very accommodating & provided exceptional service to us. She was very personable & we really enjoyed interacting with her. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It is a gem & we will return.
