I ordered the French onion soup & the pizza, & both were far below my expectations. The onion soup lacked the rich, deep flavor I was expecting, & the pizza was not good at all. Since I specifically came to experience authentic local cuisine in Quebec, this meal was very disappointing. The service was fine, but the food quality simply didn't justify the reputation. I wouldn't come back or recommend it based on my experience.
Everything is homemade French onion soup Shepard pie & cabbage roll incredible & all home made. The decor is eclectic & quirky but it works
The waitress was so friendly & it's so cute inside. The food was so delicious, we had the french onion soup & the shepherds pie style entree, it was all delicious. The atmosphere was great too & the games are really fun. I recommend!!
This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We don't speak French, but the lady working here took the time to explain the menu to us in English, which we really appreciated
We had the Quebec equivalents of shepherd's pie & cabbage rolls, as well as the cream of broccoli soup, & all were excellent.
The lady also made me an adult version of lemonade (lemon + cranberry + vodka). Not sure if it's on the menu, but it was absolutely delicious.
The prices were very reasonable, especially compared with restaurants in Old Quebec City. All in all it was an excellent experience
We arrived in Quebec late at night & were looking for a light meal near our hotel, so we decided to stop here. Despite the cold & snowy weather outside, the restaurant felt warm, cozy, & stylish inside.
We didn't have any drinks & only ordered soup & a salad, but the staff kindly took the time to translate & explain the French menu to us, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious, & the atmosphere was wonderful.
I would definitely love to come back again.
We came here our first night in Quebec City with two toddlers during Christmas time. Not only was the atmosphere cozy, fun, & absolutely adorable, but the staff were SO accommodating. They brought over a little bin of toys for the kids & they never wanted to leave.
We ordered the French onion soup (excellent) & grilled cheese for the kids. The decor for Christmas time makes this such a special little treasure.
It's local French cuisine, we ordered onion soups, pizza. Lasagna, pate pies , cabbage rolls all great taste & reasonable price.
My wife found the place on Google maps because it was close to our hotel. I'm so happy that she did!
The place is amazing. Our server noticed we were not from around & asked if we spoke English or French & we said we speak English but wanted to try to practice French since we've been taking classes. He was so nice & patient, very cool vibes, & we're so thankful for having had an awesome training wheels experience with him.
All the food & the drink were delicious. He created a cocktail based on a couple likes of ours. For food we had french onion & the dessert was pouding chômeur à l'érable.
Will definately want to come back!
Cool bar with a fun, eclectic vibe. Seemed it was a one woman show when we were in, & she somehow managed to handle both the food & the drinks on her own. Impressive!
Neither my wife or I speak much French unfortunately, but the bartender/cook's English was good & she was very friendly.
Great spot to checkout as a tourist, but most of the people hanging out seemed like they were regulars/locals.
