Limited menu choices but all were prepared with attention to detail. We had Pâté chinois, lasagna, pizza, croque. Beer & cider & lemonade. Unfortunately no dessert tonight. Maybe next time. ❤?
First time having lasagna & it was delicious. Although it took a long time, the wait was definitely worth it.
Found this place on an AI search. Ten minute walk to Theatre Capitole. Sunday night at 6 we were the only ones there. When we left at 7:15 it was packed! Food was delicious (cabbage rolls & lasagna). Extra kudos for the salad dressing & pudding chaumore (a must!! we shared one). Music was ideal volume & vibe. Service despite being full was friendly & warm. Totally recommend. So good I forgot to take photos. $70 for 2 beers 2 dinners & 1 dessert.
It's local French cuisine, we ordered onion soups, pizza. Lasagna, pate pies , cabbage rolls all great taste & reasonable price.
The moment we walked in the ambiance hit like crazy, the menu was well set & the waiter was awesome. Service 5 stars . When we were served our shepherds pies & lasagnas it completely blew our minds the food was hot steamy & perfect on a cold day. The flavours were amazing & the salad was better than expected
Healthy, delicious home-style meals. My party had the lasagna, Thai chicken salad, & cabbage rolls which were all delicious. Dishes come with a small side salad with vinaigrette dressing which we loved. Good prices & great service as well.
People good, food no good! Entered this place with lots of hope based on reviews here. The waitress was friendly but lasagna was a joke. What you served my friends was a TV food not a real lasagna. I was lucky to be waited pretty early but running such a delicate business like a restaurant with only two people doing everything? You could imagine how hygiene was compromised.
Excellent food & very cool & comfortable vibe. We ate here with our kids for a late lunch & shared the lasagna, shepherd's pie, nachos, & hummus dip with pita. Everything was freshly made & delicious, enjoyed by everyone (big & small). Service was great! We'll be back next time we visit Quebec.
Really enjoyed the laid-back & cozy vibe of this restaurant. The menu is small & simple. We tried the lasagna, shepherd's pie, & onion soup based on other reviews, & all three were very good. The drinks were great too. Not a five-star just because nothing totally blew us away, but definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good local food in a chill setting.
We got to Quebec late Saturday, so we just looked up La Cuisine on Google Maps. It had great reviews & was only 4m walk. It was chill, comfy, with good beer, food, & friendly Canadians. Interestingly, two ladies ran the whole busy place, from taking orders to cleaning & cooking. We got French onion soup, garbage roll, lasagna, hummus & IPAs beers. The food was delicious, with good portions & reasonable prices. It was a great experience!
