Back in the day, when Savoyard shepherds wanted to warm up, they poured a little coffee and a lot of alcohol into a wooden shoe, hence the name “grolle”. Later, these shepherds made wooden containers that included several holes specifically designed for this recipe. There are now several sizes of grolles depending on the number of guests (from 2 holes to 8 holes). The grolle, also known as the “cup of friendship”, usually gets passed from hand to hand and should not come back on the table until it is finished.

This was absolutely fantastic. We had the Quebec cheese fondue for 2, Bacchus surf & turf, & raclette between 3 people & it was perfect. Definitely make time for this on your visit!

Une expérience parfaite du début à la fin!

Un immense merci à Eli pour son professionnalisme, sa bonne humeur & son service exceptionnel. Il a été d'une patience remarquable avec notre fils, qui peut parfois être un petit coquin. 😅 Il a toujours gardé le sourire & nous a fait sentir les bienvenus tout au long de la soirée.

Petit clin d'oeil également aux quelques fourchettes supplémentaires qu'il nous a gentiment rapportées… plus d'une fois! 🤣

Des employés comme Eli font toute la différence. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée & nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Une chose est certaine : on va parler de vous jusqu'en Abitibi! 🫕❤?
