Although it can be strange to find a restaurant dedicated to fondue, don't be apprehensive about going here. In our experience, we had a kind, receptive staff who were accommodating toward a tourist's lack of initiation in the language & slight indecisiveness. When the food arrived, it was delicious & well-received as one of the highlights of our trip.

We had a great time at La Grolla. We had a trio of fondues which were all fantastic. The service was excellent & the staff were happy to help me practice speaking French.

Chouette découverte, chacun peu y manger une fondue différente.. chinoise / fromage / viande bourguignonne / raclette. Ce n'est clairement pas la meilleure fondue que j'ai mangé, mais c'était très bon. Très bonne idée de concept pour Quebec. Bravo à l'equipe

This fondue place was amazing. We got the Trio option which is cheese, broth or oil, & chocolate or maple course. It was all very good & with portions we could not finish. Our waiter was very kind about our knowing very little French. They make no fuss about it, they just switch from table to table, which is pretty impressive. They were very attentive & nice!

We really enjoyed the Quebec cheese with bread cubes. The mini potato we added we cooked perfectly! The chocolate fondue was also good.

Although a little far from the downtown Quebec City core, the experience was worth the distance. The location is unpretentious as are the wait staff - who are the children of the owner. We went here because we wanted a Swiss fondue experience - & we got it. We had 2 meals - one a Gruyere cheese fondue with bread chunks & the other, thinly sliced beef for cooking in a beef broth. Both were served with 4 different dipping sauces. Delicious. We would go again if back in town.
