Back in the day, when Savoyard shepherds wanted to warm up, they poured a little coffee and a lot of alcohol into a wooden shoe, hence the name “grolle”. Later, these shepherds made wooden containers that included several holes specifically designed for this recipe. There are now several sizes of grolles depending on the number of guests (from 2 holes to 8 holes). The grolle, also known as the “cup of friendship”, usually gets passed from hand to hand and should not come back on the table until it is finished.

We enjoyed Raclette with a charcuterie , we were encouraged to place two orders for the two of us but one would have been plenty! The chunk of Raclette was a good size.

Seul bémol nous svions des coupons tuango & nous avions oublié de le dire avant de commander nous svons suggérer de prendre le 25$ qui était le coût 💲 de l'achat au lieu du 50$ de valeur & vous avez refusé très décevant considérant que ça vous coûtait rien

It was a lovely spot with great service but we partly booked it because there was a fireplace, which turned out to be a lit log in an old fireplace & the Bacchus fondue was way too salty but the cheese fondue was good.
