Il faisait beau ce midi là & déjeuner en terrasse à l'ombre d'un parasol tout en regardant une foule pas encore trop compact déambuler sur la place fut une expérience bien agréable. J'ai commandé une pizza à la viande fumée. Celle-ci s'avéra fort goûteuse mais un tantinet limitée en taille pour mon estomac ravi de cette découverte. Le personnel en terrasse fut aimable & attentif à ce que tout se passe bien. Néanmoins, un petit bémol par rapport à l'encaissement bien mérité de cette prestation: je l'ai trouvé un peu rapide après que j'eus fini mon repas. C'est vrai qu'il faut aussi laisser la place aux autres afin qu'ils puissent aussi bénéficier d'une pause méridienne agréable.
A noter l'idée très astucieuse d'avoir installé des banquettes en face des portes des toilettes afin d'adoucir une attente parfois bien contrariante.
Pizza très bonne, employés sympathiques. Nous avons mangé à l'extérieur sur la terrasse, repas très agréable. Je recommande l'endroit, pour tous les goûts !

Expérience très moyenne! Pizza de très moyenne qualité avec des ingrédients vraiment pas incroyables, nous nous sommes fait avoir par les milliers de panneaux « le petit futé » mais la cuisine n'est pas à la hauteur surtout pour le prix!

It was a perfect Sunday evening in Old Québec. We had been walking for hours, completely lost track of time, & by the time we decided to have dinner, there weren't many places still serving food. La Pizz became a natural choice. Since I don't eat meat, pizza or pasta sounded like the perfect option.
I have to start by saying that the service was genuinely very good. The staff were friendly, welcoming, & I honestly enjoyed the experience. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but considering the location in the heart of the tourist district, that's completely understandable.
The salad was excellent-I really enjoyed it. The pasta had a delicious sauce, nicely balanced with just the right amount of garlic. The pasta itself, however, was a little *too* al dente for my taste.
Now, the pizza...
Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It seemed noticeably undercooked, with the cheese almost floating on top rather than being properly baked. It reminded me more of a frozen pizza than a freshly made one. That said, I didn't mention it to the staff, so these are simply my personal impressions.
For a restaurant that carries the name La Pizz, I expected the pizza to be the highlight of the meal, especially at that price point. Hopefully it was just an off night, because based on the service & the rest of the food, I truly believe the kitchen can do better.
A few things that made this review 2 stars- one, the music was very loud & sometimes had songs that were very explicit, we didnt mind but there were little kids right next to our table, & I think that that is unprofessional. Not a huge thing. The food was good but not great- pizza was slightly overcooked but not a huge deal either. What was annoying was that we were seated by the host & then we had no one approach us for more than 10 minutes even when groups coming in got service first. When we signaled to a waitress she came over & greeted us by saying; oh, well you haven't been waiting long? But phrased it like a fact & not a question, which is not how you greet people. She proceeded to say she never noticed us come in & did not apologize beyond that. She was very nice but not very professional & was rushing around so much that we had to literally verbally talk to her to get anything we needed instead of them just checking up on us once we got our food. Overall, not the best experience especially because we were hungry. I understand everyone makes mistakes but this definitely dampened our experience.
