L'ambiance est assez cool, surtout côté fenêtre avec vue sur la rue. Le service est impeccable. Parfois il y a un peu d'attente, normal pour un endroit aussi populaire.
Ok…so mixed feelings about this place. It was very cozy, friendly staff. The hot chocolate was pretty good. I ordered the buckwheat crepe (turkey ham & egg)…never saw the egg, & it was pretty bad. Full disclosure, the server did tell me the buckwheat was different & not everyone likes it but I decided to try it…that is on me. Stick to the flour crepe & it should be fine. Still, a good experience overall.
Rubbery crepe, inaccurate opening hours & young staff who don't care. 0% crêpe bretonne pour ceux qui en connaît!
Seemed like a nice place, but tge crepe were awful. The buckwheat kne tasted like dry cardboard & the wheat flour one was rubbery & pale.
We tried the homemade sauce apple crêpe with ice cream & it completely surprised us. The flavour was amazing.
The texture was light & the filling was warm, balanced, & not overly sweet with tender apples. They're right, they have the best crepes
& that's saying a lot-because I don't even like apple desserts 😅. Highly recommended
Very disappointed in the service here & the quality of crepes!!!
We arrived around 5:15pm & there was only one other couple.
We were ready to order & kept looking around at a server & there were 3 of them standing around. None of them looked our way or heard us say'excuse me!'
I literally watched them take an order of a party of 3 that just wanted drinks but came AFTER us!
I finally caught the attention of one of them by loudly saying excuse me with my arm raised.
They were all young looking too (in their 20s).
After our order was taken, the food took awhile to come out & I noticed that another couple that came AFTER us, was served their food (also crepes) before us!!
I was so hungry & upset!
When the crepes finally arrived, it was lackluster. Nothing special. The chocolate over powered the maple butter that was supposedly in my crepe. The texture of the crepe was rough & hard to cut.
Le Buche has better crepes!
My husband & I choose this place so that we could have authentic French crepes. Our server, which we did not get her name, was very friendly. We learned she was from Germany, which we were just in Germany last December for the Christmas Market. She invited us to come back to Quebec for their Christmas market. The food was very good & service was very friendly & personable.
We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful brunch here with very fresh fruit crepes & great coffee & OJ. The service was excellent as well!
