We split a savory crepe & a sweet crepe. Both were great. The savory was Choix #7 (Bacon, fresh spinach, tomatoes goat cheese, basil pesto). Sweet was strawberries & bananas with a maple syrup drizzle. Both with flour. I wish we had tried the buckwheat out of curiosity. Chai latte was also good -lots of cinnamon, a little less cream/milk than I am used to but had a good flavor.
Lovely little crêpe spot, perfect for breakfast. We ordered two savory crêpes & one chocolate-banana-strawberry with whipped cream-very satisfying for someone with a sweet tooth. Overall, the food exceeded my expectations, & the staff were friendly. A great way to start the day in Quebec City.
Le Casse-Crêpe Breton has been a staple any time I have visited Québec City. The servers are always working hard & quickly to make sure everything is running as efficiently as possible. We were told there was going to be a 15 minute wait, but were seated within 5. We got two of the sweet crepes, & they were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area & want great, high quality crepes.
This place doesn't take reservations & doesn't take names for a list. You will need to wait in line. Once in, the service & food is wonderful! They have both sweet & savory crepes. You can also build your own. They also had frappes/milkshakes & a great selection of coffee.
Awesome breakfast in Old Quebec. Unbelievable crepes, got one savory & one sweet to share with my wife. Great service & large lattes! Loved it.
Forget the car & get walking! Gorgeous cobblestone streets.
Would absolutely recommend & would come back if not for all the other cool places to explore!
Absolutely incredible crepes! While traveling through Canada, I stumbled upon this charming creperie & was blown away. The buckwheat crepes were perfectly crisp on the outside & soft inside-authentic, flavorful, & clearly made with care. I tried both a savory crepe & a sweet one topped with fresh strawberries, & they were both phenomenal. The plating was beautiful, the ingredients were fresh, & everything tasted homemade. Bonus points for the cozy stone wall interior & friendly service. One of the best meals of my trip-highly recommend!
Fantastic place for breakfast. Delicious sweet & savory crepes & excellent mochas!
The restaurant inside is small & they don't have outdoor patio dining area like other restaurants on the same street. Their food is good & I am happy to see they have crepe with chestnut spread that USA don't really have it anywhere. Crepe has both sweet & savory. Bacon sandwich is surprisingly good as well unlike American's salty bacon, here's a lot lighter & less salty.
Very kind staff
Great crepes
Nice seating(good view of street)
Lots of options from sweet crepes to savory crepes to soups & sandwiches, coffee, milkshakes, beer & wine, & even juice.
We had an excellent lunch here on a weekday in May. I had a crepe stuffed with sausage, bacon, eggs, etc & it was fantastic. My husband had a sweet s'more crepe that was ok, but he said mind was much better. He had a chai latte that was fantastic.
Our server was attentive, filled our water constantly, & was very nice. The room was a bit dark & mostly wood, not much decor, but it was clean & the food was great! I would recommend for sure.
