I cannot say enough about the restaurant & the experience. Wonderful food & presentation, & the staff was so very knowledgeable & friendly. Get the wine pairings if you go, it's worth it. Huge thanks to Jonathan for taking such good care of us & making it a memorable evening!

An unforgettable dining experience made possible by superb 6 course menu expertly paired with old & new world wines, topped by attentive service that subtly spoke of high class Michelin worthy establishment. What impressed me the most was attention to every detail, from the moment you walk inside the restaurant to impecable timing of every part of the culinary journey.

Our experience at Le Clan was very positive. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive. Because it is an unusual restaurant, we needed some guidance. Our original waitstaff ( a man) was helpful but not terrific. I questioned the quantity of wine since I dont like to drink much… in retrospect I feel that I was oversold the wine pairing. I would have been better off ordering a glass or wine or two. The food was terrific. We enjoyed all of it…some dishes more than others.

I will not describe the six course paired menu we chose for our meal. I bet it changes frequently. However, I will say all of the food & paired wine was great, but the last course veal paired with a red wine from Italy. Fantastic! The dessert was three different rhubarb presentations with a German wine. It, too, was excellent. All of the servers were friendly & helpful. All in all a great meal.

The only determint was a loud & slightly obnoxious group near our table. Not a thing that can be controlled by the restaurant. The Discovery Meal was a fabulous journey of tastes & textures with a theme of The Foods of Quebec. The wine pairing were perfect & we had the best three hours of eating while we spent our time in Quebec City.

What a fantastic discovery while wandering around Quebec City! One of the most creative & incredible meals we've ever had. Service staff was very knowledgeable on the wine & the food, pacing of the courses was perfect. Highly recommend if you're looking for a special dining experience.

Serious gastronomy highlighting Quebec fish, meats & produce with thoughtful wine pairings, including a few less expected selections that worked wonderfully with our dinner. Come hungry & unrushed & enjoy the six course tasting menu. Shout out to the pastry chef - it was no small feat putting a memorable coda on the evening but she pulled it off with not one, not two but three sweet goodbyes. Service was professional but not at all stuffy. Highly recommended.
