We had a fantastic dinner at Le Clocher Penche. The food far surpassed our expectations & the wine recommendations were perfectly paired to the food we ate & shared. Cocktails beforehand were also some of the best we've had. All that plus a warm, welcoming & really helpful server, Livia, made the evening really enjoyable & memorable. What a wonderful meal we had at La Clocher Penche. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable, the cocktails creative & delicious & the food exceptionally prepared & presented. We were so happy we ventured away from the historic district to try this lovely neighborhood bistro.

We were looking for a high quality, but not a pretentious resto, when we visited QC & this place was highly recommended when I researched for best restaurants in QC. it didn't fail us. Beautiful decor with an open kitchen ambiance. Very polite, attentive staff. We got the fish of the day ( delish) , oysters, blood pudding ( its smoked sour cream was like nothing we tasted before) , the venison was very well cooked & juicy in its sauce. I got the Blue nuit, a tasty strong blueberry based gin cocktail , & my friend an Pilsner. All around we enjoyed our meal & experience very much . Highly recommended.
Pricing & portions made sense.

Atmosphere, accueil & service aux tables impeccables! cocktails & vins très biens aussi. Le problème est avec la bouffe, surtout les plats principaux.
Les sauces sont trop foncés & tellement similaires qu'il est très difficile d'identifier les accompagnements.Nous avons choisit la pintade & l'arrivage du jour( les petoncles) & on avait l'impression d'avoir la meme sauce.Décevant!!

What a welcoming & wonderful place! The staff was delightfully helpful & helped me make a selection of courses & cocktails that all coordinated perfectly.
The fresh cheese with smoked celeriac, green apples & nuts was the highlight of the evening, along with a refreshing elderflower cocktail.
If ever in Quebéc city again, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
