Bistro atmosphere, upbeat & energetic. Food is creative & imaginative & phenomenal. Flavours are complex & crafted. Service was attentive & knowledgeable. A memorable evening! Blood pudding was a revelation! Cost is appy+main+shared dessert before wine

I found this gem by searching on Google & then going to their IG page. It was exactly what we were looking for: laidback fine dining with a fun, creative twist. The service, atmosphere, drinks & food were all amazing. Thank you!

What a gorgeous spot. The decor takes you right away. Mocktail program is inspiring, nuanced & sophisticated. The hangar steak was incredibly tender & swimming in bordelaise.

What an experience! I must say . From the food to the service, it was impeccable. Huge shoutout to our server Vincent who was not only polite & attentive but so detailed with explaining each dish & suggesting some delectable cocktails!
I didn't even go through the drinks menu , just asked for his suggestions & that was it.

We ordered the bread with the compound butter ( which was great by the way)as we thought the dishes would take time to come out of the kitchens but that wasn't so, the service was fast & efficient.

Next we ordered the Fresh cheese & the black pudding. Both were nice but the black pudding was the dish of the night hands down! It was an explosion of flavours in your mouth.

We then had the fish of the day. The cod was cooked to absolute prefection! Our other main course was Labneh & tahini ( which is a must have if you are looking for vegetarian options)

We ended the night on the best note with the amazing crème brûlée ( it was special ) & it was enough for 2 people.

All in all an amazing experience & a must visit for sure if you're in Quebec.

Loved, loved, loved! Perfect from our greeting to our departure. Very pleased that le Cloché Penché is still in business & better than ever after 30 years!
The quality & freshness of the food is second to none. The creativity of the dishes allows you to rediscover & further enjoy familiar ingredients. The team are dedicated & obviously love their job. It is noticeable in the passion they display in presenting & discussing the food & wine offerings.
We are looking forward to our next visit.

Je suis allé à ce restaurant plusieurs fois depuis son ouverture.
& c'est à chaque fois d'une qualité exceptionnelle.
Un menu de très grande classe.
Un service impeccable.
Un must à Québec!!
