We tried the "Double Cream Brie Spinach & Mushrooms egg benedict" along with "Charlevoix Plate" & "Veggie Burger" . "Charlevoix Plate was a clear winner - had fruits, waffles, scrambled eggs & fries. Additional delight was complimentary cafe du lait with the breakfast, it was just the right thing we needed after a sumptuous brunch. Would love to visit this, whenever we have a trip to Quebec.
Came here for breakfast. We ordered the salmon omelet & greek style eggs with feta. The food was good here, location is in the heart of Old Quebec.
Lovely place, very spacious. I had one of the brunch options including egg, local cheese & maple syrup waffles with season fruit. Big portions & really tasty!
I would recommend the breakfast at cochon dingue : benedict eggs bacon & cheese. Although the cheese was not really melted with the eggs & the bread became soggy after I started eating, it was still good. The baked potatoes were excellent! The service was great & the wait was not very long. The price is reasonable for the food, but drinks are a little more expensive. Basic drinks like coffee & hot chocolate were free, which was really nice!
We enjoyed this restaurant thoroughly on our visit to Quebec City. So much so we visited more than once! For breakfast recommend the seafood eggs Benedict, it's served on a seafood cake! Hot chocolate was delicious & came with a sugar salt rim, an interesting combo For lunch we enjoyed the seafood pot & pot, similar to a seafood pot pie for Americans, & the Philly cheese sandwich. Service was friendly & attentive.
Food & service were excellent & the bowl of cafe au lait included in the price of the meal was a very pleasant surprise. The crepes stuffed with mushrooms & cheese were really good & the eggs benedict were fantastic. One of the better breakfast options in Old Quebec for value.
Our waitress Apsara was lovely & extremely efficient. The food was amazing, the service was prompt & our dining experience was that much better because of the staff. If youre in quebec city i highly recommend dining here. We had lobster eggs benedict & avocado toast. The food was delicious & came quickly & hot!
The brunch options are indeed quite enjoyable & worth a visit. However, I felt that the service lacked attention to detail. While the staff were very welcoming, there were instances where our orders were mixed up; for example, I requested scrambled eggs but received soft-boiled instead, & my friend asked for no ice in their coffee, yet it still arrived with plenty of ice. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive.
My server recommended the Duck Confit Eggs Benedict. Sheesh. Now, I'm a believer! Even the accompanying potatoes & whole-grain toast were perfect.
