Vegan or not, you will enjoy a visit to Le Don. High-end cuisine at very reasonable prices. The lunch specials (415 0r $22 at time of review) are a bargain. Highlights of our meal included Caesar Salad, Risotto & Blueberry Lemon Pie. Highly recommend!
My Mum & I were visiting QC & we were super excited to have a Vegan restaurant just across our hotel. We visited 5/16/2025 & was welcome by Marc-Antoine. He informed us about the lunch special for $15 which was difficult to select since they all sounded amazing. (I didn't take a photo of the menu but hoping I remember the names) Both Mum & I started with the broccoli cauliflower soup & wow! LOVED IT! Mum had the curry rice with kofta & I opted for the risotto with roasted bell peppers & sausage. Dessert was a chocolate brownie cake. Everything was just amazing!! We wanted to order those same meals to take with us back to our hotel but it wasn't on their regular menu. We opted for a few items from the menu: roasted vegetable salad, Coconut Thai soup, burrito bowl, & impossible burger with Caesar salad (this was our meal for Sabbath but had some left over for Sunday too.) We made reservations for brunch on 5/18/2025; Mum had the morning burrito while I had the DONe Anma. Everything was so tasty! We went back again today (can you tell we love the food?) & was happy to be greeted by Marc-Antoine! Mum & I both had the almond & cranberry salad & the Mac & cheese. It was good. We plan on returning again until our last day in QC but it wasn't just the food that set the bar but the customer service we received upon our first visit by Marc-Antoine. We didn't speak the language but felt welcomed by his kindness, professionalism, & exceptional customer service. He was simply awesome! & the chef or chefs that prepared our incredible meals as well! The highlight for me is definitely visiting Don Vegan. Thank you for making our trip to QC enjoyable!
Food: Would recommend Bibimbap & panko cauliflower. We felt Donpling was just okay. Salads were a bit sweet. Cocktail: Le Germaine, gin based, was also, for some reason, sweet. I would recommend reducing the sweet quotient. Otherwise, this place had a great vibe & good service.

We tried the antipasto & the quantity is huge & worth the price. The salad was really good & their chipotle mayo was delicious.I am in love with their artichoke dip. The poor man's pudding was little too sweet for me, but if you have a sweet tooth you should definitely try it.
Fantastic food, light atmosphere- wonderful service. Fully bilingual which helped us bumbling with our French. Warm & friendly service. Large menu with a great, daily lunch deal & delicious cocktails. The portions here are quite generous! As someone that is omnivorous, the Caesar salad was fantastic! The mushroom risotto, creamy with a sharp cheese accent & warm peppery aftertaste. The Donplings, crisy exterior & juicy flavour with a tangy, mildly sweet dip is another appetizer I recommend. The pad Thai was also impressive in serving size (we ended up w take away for our leftovers). The flavours in the pad Thai & the tofu- the fried tofu! SO good! Fresh herbs & vegetables mixed in with this is amazing! Will definitely go back to try more of their menu items & delicious cocktails!
Thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious & well-presented, the service was attentive & friendly, & the atmosphere was relaxed & inviting.
We started our meal with the antipasto platter, which was a perfect combination of salad & most entrees on the menu. The gnocchi pasta was also delicious, & the portion size was generous, The kid really enjoyed this dish. For dessert, we had the poor man's pudding, which was a decadent & flavorful dish made with maple syrup & pudding.
Overall, I would highly recommend Le Don Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious vegan meal in Quebec City.
Excellent resto vegan! Leur salade César est délicieuse! Toujours un bon service, courtois & rapide. On peut facilement se stationner au Café du Monde au besoin. Bons cocktails.
We ordered the artichoke dip entree, the waiters forgot if we had received our starter & had to ask us. When it finally arrived, the plate was presented beautifully but wasn't seasoned well. Not a good start. For the mains, the tacos were delicious & the fettuccini mushroom was mouthwatering. The salad was dressed well, helping cut through the heaviness of the pasta. The main star was the dessert: poor man's pudding, a sweet & syrupy sponge with fresh berries & the raspberry cheesecake. We tried their bloody Caesar cocktail which comes with olives- they still have their stones unlike the olives in the artichoke dip so be wary
This food was incredible. We had planned to go in person, but we had young kids in our group & it was cold & they were tired, so we went back to our b&b. It was our daughter's birthday though, & she really wanted this food, so we ubered the pasta & cesar salad with the Don cake. I mentioned that it was her birthday & they sent the chocolate cake, too, & a sparkler. The food was phenomenal. Next time we visit Quebec City, we will be bringing a group & definitely hit up this restaurant in person. Thank you!
