Je recommande mille fois Le Don. C'est la deuxième fois que je viens en peu de temps & ma satisfaction lors de ma première venue n'était pas due au hasard. Le menu est varié, les assiettes sont colorées, tout est extrêmement bien assaisonné & les combinaisons sont parfois insolites mais réussies. Ici on mange de la vraie cuisine, qui plus est vegan, & il ne s'agit pas juste d'une salade. Tout est méticuleusement préparé & le plaisir gustatif est incroyable! Plutôt classique dans mon choix la première fois, j'ai cette fois osé commander le bowl au fruit du jacquier, fruit qui m'est totalement inconnu. C'était un régal ! Je n'en dis pas plus si ce n'est qu'il faut vous laisser tenter par l'expérience !! & le cheesecake cajou betterave framboise était délicieux également ! Beaucoup de restaurants non vegan n'arrivent pas à la cheville du Don alors bravo!! Vous risquez d'en convertir plus d'un!
L'ambiance était sombre mais nous étions juste à côté des cuisine ouverte à l'éclairage blanc néon & aux sons de vaisselle qui "scrappais" la vibe. Comme j'etais assise vers le centre on accrochait toujours ma chaise soit par le personnel où par la clientèle qui voulaient aller aux toilettes. La nourriture est assez décevante pour le prix car tout est accompagné de salade , on a pas le choix d'accompagnement quand on prend un burger par exemple . Le dessert pudding chômeur était excellent par contre & le personnel était super gentil !
Delicious food & great service ! Unfortunately I did find that the price was a little high for the portion size (half of the plate is salad for the two main dishes we ordered). But overall happy with everything :)

Hmmm, comment dire... C'était la meilleure bouffe végane que j'ai mangé de toute ma vie. Hands down!! Moi & ma copine avons pris une entrée de DONplings, un délice. Pour mon repas principale, j'ai pris le risotto aux 2 courges, encore un délice. Ma blonde, elle a pris une salade césar avec spaghetti & devine quoi, un autre délice. C'est simple, j'aurais liché mon assiette. C'est plate pour les autres restos parce que la prochaine fois qu'on revient à Québec, on retourne chez DON. Polch.
We were staying in Quebec City for a night & went there with our 6 & 9 year old. We all loved it. The kids gobbled up the burger & Caesar salad. I had the gnocchi which was so delicious. We had the panko cauliflower to start which I'd highly recommend. Great service too.
The best vegan food we have had in Canada. Even my non-vegan partner ate & enjoyed himself! We had the burger & Bolognese with Caesar salad. Let me say, not a tofu person, but the tofu bacon, I have been dreaming about since. We also had a rosemary flavoured cocktail. We have very bad french, so I am not going to try type it, but it started something like la/le ch...try it, it was ok the bottom right hand side of the menu. Anyway. Absolutely divine. If you're vegan, it's a must, it you're not & curious, this place offer dishes that don't try to imitate meat, & are delicious & filling without being "just salad".
We went to this restaurant twice. Cute patio & good service. The staff were friendly & fast. The food was okay, & with so few vegan options in Quebec City I was grateful it was there. That said, we ordered a risotto that was labelled spicy & it wasn’t. I was also disappointed in the Cesar salad, the bacon was more like ham chunks, not what I’m used to & not my preference. The burrito bowl was the best meal on the menu & very filling.
I’d recommend trying the drinks. The Malibu Stacy was delicious.
Bonjour, lors de notre visite, mon conjoint a demandé au jeune serveur si le pad thaï était bon. Le jeune homme a répondu: ben moi j'aime pas ca la bouffe asiatique. Donc rapidement, mon conjoint a demandé qu'elle était la plus grosse assiette du menu. Il lui a recommandé l'assiette à partager. On a
pris ca sans trop regarder ce qu'il y avait dedans. 46$ pour 1/4 de l'assiette en salade césar, très grosse déception. On a mangé & nous sommes allés manger ailleurs.
Votre serveur aurait dû vanter vos assiettes. Pour votre assiette à partager, vous avez sûrement autre chose à mettre qu'une salade caesar...
Sur ce, nous y retournerons quand même, mes expériences précédentes étaient excellentes.
Le tartare de betterave est proposé en entrée & en plat avec une différence de prix alors que la taille du tartare de betterave est similaire. Il y a juste plus de salade & de croûtons de pain dans le cadre du plat qui est deux fois plus cher que l'entrée.
