Je n'avais jamais goûté du 100% vegetal & c'est une agréable surprise. Les goûts, les textures sont bluffants & les portions généreuses. Une étoile en moins pour les toilettes, qui sont tres petites & limitées en accessibilité (un fauteuil roulant n'y passerai pas)

An exquisite vegan dining experience, with a modest offering of gluten-free items. The mushroom risotto (gluten free) was incredible - & the presentation was beautiful.

The outdoor patio atmosphere was lovely, seamlessly integrated into the surrounding street, & very lively with foot traffic & local excitement.

Highly recommend as a stop for plant-based eating in Quebec City!

Food is great. It took 30-40
Mins for food to arrive after ordering. They came almost 15mins after to take the order after handling the menu. We got pad thai noodles & cheeseburger. Both was great. Soup was nice as well but lacked flavour & came little cold. Outside sitting is OK too.

Review from 2026: I went back to Le Don after 5 years, soooo excited to try the food again, & I was quite disappointed. The potato salad was dry & so was the burger. The bun was over roasted & there was hardly anything inside, just some tofu & a couple of beets & a small slice of tomato & salad. I was actually shocked because I loved my experience the first time. Maybe it was the day we were there (July 1 in the middle of a heatwave), but I don't know if I'll be back. Makes me sad to leave this review, but I had to share. My expectations were high, but I'm pretty flexible. However as the only vegan place in the city, it should be excellent …

Review from 2021: Absolutely one of the most delicious vegan places I've ever been! Try the appetizer dish for two - it's filling & satisfying & absolutely yummy. The drinks are great too. Definitely a must-taste in Quebec City - & the location is really prime.

Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant lors d'une journée de très forte chaleur, ce qui a peut-être eu un impact sur le rythme du service.

L'accueil & le service nous ont semblé peu chaleureux & manquaient un peu d'attention. Les premiers plats sont arrivés avant que nous ayons nos couverts, & nous avons dû les demander car personne ne venait à notre table. Les délais d'attente pour recevoir les plats ont également été assez longs.

En revanche, la présentation des assiettes était soignée & les plats étaient globalement bons, avec des saveurs bien présentes, même si certains étaient un peu relevés à notre goût.

Une expérience mitigée donc, avec une cuisine agréable, mais un service qui mériterait davantage d'attention pour être à la hauteur des plats proposés.

Waited about 10 min to order our drinks: a beer & a non-alc cocktail & this took FORTY minutes to arrive at our table. Of note, we visited on the hottest day of the year so far & no water was offered while we waited & our server never checked in between ordering & getting our drinks (we did check in with him ourselves & he said the drinks were coming out - they took 15 minutes beyond this point) & finally only brought water WITH our cocktails. Once we finally got our drinks, no apology for the wait. When we asked for the bill, this came within seconds.

The restaurant would benefit from having atleast one more person helping out with customers.

Our waiter did their best.. but was visibly overwhelmed with the heat & single handedly attending customers....

Food was good. Waited 10min at the table for water. 10more minutes for the waiter to take our order & 20min for the food to arrive!

The best part was the bill! We said bill please, there it was in under 20sec!! All this happened on the hottest day of the summer...
