Review Summary

Le Petit Coin Latin is widely regarded as a charming, quiet, and cozy refuge tucked away from the busy streets of Old Quebec. Visitors frequently praise the warm service, the authentic atmosphere, and the delightful outdoor terrace, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing break. While the coffee, pastries, charcuterie platters, and soups like the French onion or carrot soup receive high acclaim for their quality and flavor, feedback regarding certain prepared food items such as pizza and quiche is mixed. Despite some inconsistencies in meal preparation and occasional wait times, many diners consider it a hidden gem with reasonable prices, encouraging others to visit for an enjoyable snack or a calm, welcoming experience.

I ordered a goat cheese pizza, but the quality was pretty bad. The dough literally tasted like frozen pizza, & I can't believe it cost $17.50 for such a small, hard pizza. The service was fine & the atmosphere is nice, but I wouldn't come back.

Probably the best French Onion soup you can ever imagine to have in Old Quebec City's narrow streets … fresh, hot, delicious & loaded with cheese to the most appropriate amount .. not too little & not too much, just right to perfection! Very welcoming experience & thoroughly enjoyable & delicious options available in the small cafe. Would strongly recommend this place.

We walked up to the counter & ordered a glass of wine, a glass of beer & a cheese platter. The beer came quickly, the wine came a little bit later & we did have to wait a while for our cheese platter. The wait felt very Parisian. We both enjoyed the wine & the beer, & the charcuterie platter was delicious with perfect combinations of cheese, fruits, & pickles.

Very cute place, amazing local food (we had two cappuccino & one plate of cheese & charcuterie to share) & it was amazing. Other comments I've seen mention the wait time for service but that is because there is just one person in charge of everything & she did amazing. Very kind & thoughtful. I'd definitely repeat.
