Unfortunately, it was the worst coffee I have ever tasted. I expected so much more considering they had a La Marzocco espresso machine, but the coffee was very bitter with a floral aftertaste that didn't resemble coffee at all.
To the tourists: yes, pick this place to get your pastries. If you pick the raspberry croissant, get paper towels & be ready to look like a toddler with an ice cream cone. If you see a discounted one on the counter, they are a great option because the filling will be firm. I can't vouch for the coffee but people seem to like it. Their tea is fine but skip the chai. Try their mac & cheese with mushrooms for lunch. If you see me with my dog & there's only one pistachio cruffin on the shelf, leave it there. It's mine, I'll come get it (you can get it, you're okay. But don't let someone else get it).
Best coffee we've had yet on our trip around Montreal, Quebec City & the Eastern Townships. The barista was super friendly & spoke proudly about the quality of the coffee. The Nutella croissants were very good but the coffee was the main attraction.
Had the best vanilla latte & chocolate croissant. The perfect start to our day of shopping & exploring the boardwalk.
When I visited this cute spot early July, it was a hot daytime w so many ppl milling around. I went in & the kind barista gave me a cup of water 💦. He made the best cappuccino I've ever tasted in Quebec City during my visit to QC CA. Kindness & compassion the barista showed that day earned my respect. I would visit this place again not because it is a famous landmark but because of this caring human being.
