J'ai vraiment adoré l'endroit, l'ambiance & mon dîner au Bistro Le Sam étaient excellents. Les plats avaient un goût exceptionnel & étaient très savoureux. Le service était au top. Un grand merci à Evelyne Brochu, la serveuse, qui a été très gentille & professionnelle. Une très belle expérience, je recommande.

Prix élevés pour la qualité, les fish & chips trop cuits, pain du cheeseburgers brûlés. La portion adulte de fish & chips plus petite que celle enfant. Décevant pour le Fairmount. Le service excellent & la vue splendide. Je recommande que pour un verre ou le Champlain.

Just few in that afternoon--got to the bar as they opened. Nice young men working--great conversation. They recommended the French Onion soup. Oh yeah. Best I have EVER had. Great place. A nice change from what we have in the USA. I would travel back just for the soup & salad alone!!!

Nous avons essayé le menu du Festival Table Gourmande. C'était sublime. Le mixte des saveurs avec la betterave fumée en entrée était divin. Les parfums du plat principal étaient juste parfait. & que dire de la crème brûlée, une des meilleurs que nous avons mangé.
Le service était impeccable. On nous a même changé de place pour plus d'intimité. Quel bel attention ! Je recommande fortement. En plus, il y a la vue, l'ambiance du château.

Really great food. We all had the Filet Mignon & it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend especially if you are staying in the Chateau Frontenac

Excellente expérience. Une petite bouchée & un bon verre de vin en vaut le détour. Menu intéressant. Cuisine réputée. & service hors pair par Thomas, accueillant, stylé & très professionnel. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Enjoyed lunch here after the chills & thrills of the Dufferin Terrace toboggan. It's a mere less than 5 minute walk between the two.

The Chateau is beautifully decorated for Christmas this time of year & is bustling & hustling with people.

I highly recommend the French onion soup which is a hearty serving of delicious soup that stands as a main on its own. The soup to onion & cheese ratio was perfect which is a feat that few restaurants seem to achieve & makes the $25 price a bit more palatable (no pun intended).

We also ordered the club sandwich &, while good, it didn't stand up to the French onion soup & truly wasn't worthy of the $35 price.

Dining at Bistro Le Same comes with a significant price tag because of its location inside the Chateau & the prestige that comes along with it.

We had dinner for New Year's Eve & it was so enchanting. The Hotel is beautifully decorated with trees & lights. We arrived early for our reservation at Bistro Le Sam & the hotel staff were so nice & welcoming. The host & waiter was so nice & attentive. The service was perfect. We had the seafoof ravioli casserole & the Flank steak & it was so delicious & plated with care. The restaurant is modern & cozy for such a busy night. We reserved for 5:15pm by Open Table App. It is on the pricy side but for a New Year's dinner it was so worth it. We had a wonderful time & recommend it. What a great memory for us.

Ambiance parfaite! Les plats vraiment délicieux!! Le service est merveilleux!!! Merci à Yesmine qui nous a formidablement conseillés. Elle connaît sur le bout des doigts le menu & nous a permis de déguster des mets exquis & même de faire des découvertes. Merci beaucoup!

Je le recommande fortement aussi bien aux couples, aux familles qu'aux groupes d'amis.

I had a very good experience in this restaurant (twice), overall. To make reservations, you can do either by calling or online & it's very easy & accommodating to do so.
I do like the Interior design despite the window area having some low chairs which does not make it easy to eat.
The food is great & has a lot of Canadian/Quebecoise dishes despite some options being big portions, they are still tasty, well presented &'clean'.
The service is very good, all the staff is very kind, helpful & positive which makes you feel welcome.
The prices also take into account what you order.
I do recommend to come & try out.
