J'ai beaucoup apprécié le service &la courtoisie du personnel.
Cependant j'ai commandé une salade César du Sam... Sur le papier il y avait des câpres comme ingrédients.
Je l'ai choisie pour cela!
Catastrophe. Aucune câpre visible.
Le serveur me dit qu'il y a pourtant des câpres frites... Autrement dit de la poudre de câpres séchées.
C'est limite mensonger de mettre ça sur la carte!
J'étais déçu & contrarié.

Beautiful restaurant! Views were fantastic. We had windows seats. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. Definitely make reservations!

Stunning location hence they can charge what they want but it is over priced for the food & the service was friendly but hit & miss. Got a bit ripped off by mistakes by the waiter which was annoying.

Ordered the burger. Can only be ordered well done due to some food law according to lovely waiter. 50 minutes after order placed my burger showed up as charcoal. Seriously burnt. Waiter swept it away to bring another. My next burger came back after my dining companion had finished her meal. By then all the food was cold. No apologies just that they were busy. Such a disappointment on Christmas Eve.

Michael displayed incredible attention to detail & his service was absolutely incredible. Set & setting is breathtaking. Food was top notch, truly amazing experience of full of Quebec & Canadian pride. 10/10

We ate at Bistro Le Sam as our first meal in Quebec after arriving at Chateau Frontenac for a stay. I'd booked the table well in advance.

The restaurant is huge, & we saw walk in customers being accommodated without issue.

The food was only OK despite the price tag, & the service was pretty dreadful. We watched the server walk around the restaurant with our appetizer plate going from table to table before it arrived.

Then, no one came to clear our appetizer away before our main course turned up. Cue the server having to put our dishes down to clear, & then provide us with new cutlery.

We didn't see a server again until the bill was requested.

For a restaurant in a five star hotel, this is far below a five star dining experience. Disappointed.

We started our stay with lunch here, & it was a great first impression. The restaurant is stunning & beautifully designed, with lovely waterfront views. The French onion soup is a must, & be sure to save room for dessert. There's a great variety of options for everyone, & the service was attentive & friendly throughout.

Bistro Sam verrière un bel endroit avec vue sur fleuve
Les tables sont basses pas toujours agréable de manger pour de grandes personnes
Le plateau de fromage ne reflète pas la renommée du Bistro; décevant le plateau on s attends à beaucoup mieux
La présentation de base & dispositions des charcuteries n est vraiment pas à la hauteur
On est quand même au Bistro du Château
On ne devrait pas avoir à redemander de l eau
Pour la facture on s y attends $$$$ pas de surprise mais on s attends aussi à recevoir des plats & service à la hauteur du Bistro'ce qui n est pas toujours le cas'

Un endroit sur évalué, aux prix gonflés. Plateau de fromage a 55$ dans une présentation très simpliste, rien a comparé a nos anciennes expériences.
