J'y suis allée pour mon anniversaire on était 7 service incroyable 😍 merci pour votre accueil surtout Guillaume pour la courtoisie sans faute je le recommande
We had a nice dining experience at Bistro Le Sam. Recommend booking ahead & requesting the alcove seating...the high top seats did not look comfortable. I had the smoked meat which is actually a sliced brisket sandwich. I had that & the French onion soup, both were tasty but very salty. My wife had the flank steak & said it was pretty tough, & salty as well. It's a bit pricey being in the Chateau Frontenac but overall worthy of the 4 stars

Important to have a reservation beforehand. The service is impeccable, the interior is stunning & the views from the hotel are beautiful. For the given price point, the quality of the food was acceptable. I recommend the roasted cod & the Québec cheese board. The beef flank steak was salty & a little tough.
What a beautiful restaurant nestled in The Chateau Frontenac. It was a non pretentious, warm environment with atmospheric lighting. Lots to offer with its wide selection of food, especially gluten free. They have gluten-free bread to offer before your meal with butter, which is a plus. Since this option is not so widely offered. Highly recommend.
J'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de la cuisine du Bistro Le Sam. Les plats sont bien présentés & les saveurs sont audacieuses. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.
The atmosphere & ambiance are wonderful. There's a great view over the city, especially at night. We had the ribs & salmon tartare as appetizers. Both were great. I had the seafood casserole & would order again. Lots of seafood & quite tasty. My husband ordered the fish & chips. Coming from Newfoundland & enjoying fresh cod & knowing the difference in cod that has been frozen for some time, this was well frozen cod & quite dry. The waiter couldn't tell us where it was sourced from other than it is "Atlantic", & that means it could have come from Europe! If you're a fan of cod, don't order this. It's not terrible, just not great, especially for the price. Otherwise it was a great experience & would recommend.
SAM at the Fairmont is an absolute gem. The food is simply amazing, & the service is outstanding from start to finish. The French onion soup is a must-try-rich, savory, & perfectly balanced. The goat cheese & spinach puff pie salad is equally incredible, with flaky pastry & fresh, vibrant flavors. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
Un magnifique lieu un personnel adorable mais une cuisine loin d être à la hauteur du prix exigé pour le menu des feux lotos quebec. Néanmoins je recommande pour la vue inégalable & la gentillesse des équipes de services

Bistro Le Sam restaurant exceeded all expectations. You do not often find a place where every element comes together so perfectly. I've been to many similar restaurants, but this one truly stands out. The attention to detail & commitment to guest service set it apart from the rest. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was very well handled. I appreciate the team for putting together such an unforgettable birthday surprise & experience. I want to thank Karen & Marie-Eve for going above & beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. Their genuine hospitality & impeccable service made all the difference. I can't thank both of them enough for their fantastic & outstanding service. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests & made me & my entire family feel very special. Karen showed me that she truly cares about the restaurant guests & she went above & beyond to make sure I left Bistro Le Sam restaurant very happy & she definitely made the difference making sure our time spend there was truly one of a kind & unforgettable. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, & charming ambiance made for a memorable experience. I clearly would give more than 5 stars if I could & I highly recommend it!!! If you go to Québec city & you want to experience one if a kind dining Bistro Le Sam restaurant should definitely be one of your top priorities.
