With anticipation of this being an amazing dining experience, my opinion was altered. Let me say the staff are amazing!!!! They were very attentive to our needs!! Well done. The food, I give it a 3 out 5. I had fish & chips & it definitely had been precooked & deep fried to warm up. Very disappointing. The fries were soggy. Best part of the meal was the garden salad! For such a famous restaurant it would be nice if the food was worth the price.

Quelle jolie place ...pour un dîner La vue sur le fleuve La déco de la salle & ce bar !! La cuisine ouverte Le mobilier chic & confortable .. Le service est doux & discret L'assiette est bien proportionnée & inventive ... l'entrée du parfait au foie & tout simplement parfaite ... j'y suis allée le jour de ma fête ... j'ai eu droit à mon gâteau ... Si c'est pas être attentionné ça ? Merci encore Marie Claude À bientôt.

I was in Quebec City with my siblings, & we treated ourselves to Sunday Brunch at Bistro Le Sam in the stunningly gorgeous Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. What a wonderful experience. We ordered from the menu--the buffet was far too much food for all of us--& it was fantastic. We each had a different breakfast, & none of us were disappointed, at all. I ordered a side of ham & a side of sourdough toast & there was plenty of food. It beat any ham & toast I've ever had. The coffee was fresh & hot & never-ending. & the service was superb! The restaurant is beautiful, & very large, with excellent views outside. If ever I am in Quebec City again, Bistro Le Sam is on the itinerary.

Une visite pour prendre qu'un verre & une petite entrée. Le goût des huitres était délicieux & mon gin tonic était super. Le décor est magnifique & j'ai reçu un excellent service.

It was raining that night & we were too lazy to leave the hotel, so we were lucky to score a table for dinner. Two weeks later, I'm sitting here, at work, still mesmerized over the creaminess of their seafood chowder. Atmosphere gets 4 stars because there isn't anything memorable about it. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice restaurant with all the pizazz but you know what I mean!

Très bonne nourriture. Il faut un budget assez élever mais très très bon. Viande tendre comme j'ai jamais goûté & savoureux. Portion raisonnable

Please know if you are a party of one (even with a reservation), a table with a view is not an option. You'll be catfished into a room with no windows, dark paneling & tvs, regardless of the time or wait. I wanted to leave, but somehow ended up sitting down in this room & missed the sunset on this beautiful Summer evening. On the up side, the roasted cod was delicious.

This is the best French Onion soup in QC & the French fries(?!) have the best taste along with the ketchup(?!). Amazing views Best service. Tres chic ambience. Do not miss this amazing experience
