What a fabulous lunch! First of all we had the best seat in the house with a river view. They were lovely about accommodating gluten free. Our lobster rolls were huge & delicious. Couldn't have been nicer.

I wrote a longer review on open table. The biggest issue was the service & the food. The waiter was incredibly nice but the service was slow compared to the table next to us. Also the flank steak was cooked perfectly but really bland & the burger was nothing special. Both had the option for either salad or fries but we were never asked & got fries. We skipped on dessert & left a bit disappointed. I wouldn't eat here again given the many options around.

As so often is the case with large tourist hotels, you go for the experience & not the food. As other reviewers mentioned, the food was ok & very expensive. Appetizers & dessert were excellent but we both sent our entrees back - my pork ribs weren't just cold because they'd been sitting out too long, they were chilled inside because they hadn't been heated. My partner's risotto was undercooked & really bland. It was a special occasion & a high price treat for us so this was super disappointing. We appreciated the quick replacements for our entrees & we were not charged for them. We had wonderful drinks at the bar & it's a special place. Not sure why a hotel of this fame & caliber can't provide an exceptional dining experience.

We had dinner for New Year's Eve & it was so enchanting. The Hotel is beautifully decorated with trees & lights. We arrived early for our reservation at Bistro Le Sam & the hotel staff were so nice & welcoming. The host & waiter was so nice & attentive. The service was perfect. We had the seafoof ravioli casserole & the Flank steak & it was so delicious & plated with care. The restaurant is modern & cozy for such a busy night. We reserved for 5:15pm by Open Table App. It is on the pricy side but for a New Year's dinner it was so worth it. We had a wonderful time & recommend it. What a great memory for us.

We had a lovely dining experience at Bistro Le SAM & truly appreciated the warm, attentive service that made our anniversary dinner feel special.

My wife had the Château burger, which she really enjoyed. I tried the Niçoise-style tuna, which wasn't quite to my personal taste. We also had a Québec-style hot spiced wine, which was excellent, & finished with a delicious crème brûlée.

A special thank you to our server for the thoughtful complimentary dessert. While the food is on the pricier side for what it is, the overall experience was memorable.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le service &la courtoisie du personnel.
Cependant j'ai commandé une salade César du Sam... Sur le papier il y avait des câpres comme ingrédients.
Je l'ai choisie pour cela!
Catastrophe. Aucune câpre visible.
Le serveur me dit qu'il y a pourtant des câpres frites... Autrement dit de la poudre de câpres séchées.
C'est limite mensonger de mettre ça sur la carte!
J'étais déçu & contrarié.

Beautiful restaurant! Views were fantastic. We had windows seats. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. Definitely make reservations!

Stunning location hence they can charge what they want but it is over priced for the food & the service was friendly but hit & miss. Got a bit ripped off by mistakes by the waiter which was annoying.

Ordered the burger. Can only be ordered well done due to some food law according to lovely waiter. 50 minutes after order placed my burger showed up as charcoal. Seriously burnt. Waiter swept it away to bring another. My next burger came back after my dining companion had finished her meal. By then all the food was cold. No apologies just that they were busy. Such a disappointment on Christmas Eve.
