Service & atmosphere were excellent. My cafe au lait, which came in a large mug with two dogs painted on it, was superb. My crepe with cheese & mushrooms was flavorful & filling: the roasted potatoes on the side were cooked to perfection. Everything was well seasoned & required little to no salt/pepper. I recall the coffee & food taking some time to come out, but in this case, it was well worth the wait!
Such a quaint historic restaurant with amazing food & a very large menu & full bar! We happened across L'omelette on our first morning & stopped for breakfast. It is such a cool setting & atmosphere. The Quebecoise omelette & tomato & cheese croissant were excellent paired with our mimosas & coffee. The potatoes that came with our meal were like none I've had before. I'm not sure how they get them so fluffy inside & crispy outside. We absolutely had to eat breakfast here the next morning also. We were looking for some poutine while here & they have a great lunch & dinner menu also so we returned again on another evening. A very romantic & casual setting with another great meal! Our waiter Marco was very funny & helped us with our drink & meal choices & sometimes broke into song with the great music playing overhead. My wife & I shared the pulled pork poutine & pea soup & were not disappointed. Very large portions & very tasty! Excellent drinks, excellent food, excellent hosts & excellent atmosphere! If you want to experience olde Quebec City you cannot miss this lovely restaurant!
Omelettes are fluffy, delicious & gluten free. Could not have the bacon or potatoes as they do not have a separate fryer so they gave me extra fruit. Gluten free toast is available
