The best Moroccan restaurant in Quebec City - La Maison. Have eaten there many times on our travels to Quebec City. Excellent home made Moroccan food, wine & desserts. The owner & staff are extremely friendly & very accommodating. The restaurant is a little of the beaten path but is very safe, authentic & delicious. This is a hidden gem in the old town of QUebec City.
Lovely gem of a restaurant serving home made Moroccan food. The tajine was amazing & good value. The service was quick & friendly. The restaurant is slightly hidden so we almost walked past it but fortunately noticed the menu. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. Highly, highly recommended
Truly a hidden gem...tucked away yet worth the exploration...food is Aaamazing...perfectly cooked prune tagine..succulent fall of the bone meat...flavorful & the price is sweeter... Highly recommend...service is wonderful, cordial & always'au marocain' so kind!!
This has been a great experience. I really liked the food. It was so delicious & the customer service was suburb. This restaurant is a hidden gem due to the hidden location. I recommend it for all of those who would like to try something extraordinary.
A little gem in touristy QC. Simple menu, but well prepared. We were surprised by the prices which are quite reasonable.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in old Quebec city. What a nice food, what a friendly & familiar service & at such a low price compared to all the nearby restaurants! I strongly recommend the lamb & chicken brochette. The only warning that I give is when you order the Marocain mint tea, keep in mind that by default it comes with sugar added when this is not the default at other restaurants.
We rarely rate anything so high, but we were so pleasantly surprised by this little gem. After walking the streets looking for something different, we stumbled on the sign on the street for La Maison Marocaine. It was dark already, & traveling down the dark alley to the door was like traveling to a different country. The interior was dimly lit, & offered a very warm & private atmosphere. Our server was very attentive, & made sure we enjoyed the meal & the experience. The Kefta was delicious, & the tea afterwards was wonderful. The portions may have been slightly smaller, but we were left satisfied! Wonderful experience, & we were glad we stumbled across this gem!
