I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at Sushi Niji.
The sushi was clearly not fresh. The taste & texture were off, & it was honestly concerning to eat. When we brought it to the manager's attention, instead of handling it professionally, he made the situation incredibly uncomfortable. He actually went back into the kitchen, took our sushi, tasted it himself, & came back to tell us that in his personal opinion it was'not bad.' That completely missed the point & felt dismissive.
To make matters worse, he refused to offer any refund or even acknowledge that there might be an issue. The whole interaction was awkward, frustrating, & frankly unacceptable. Good customer service would have meant listening to your customers, not arguing with them over their own experience.
Between the questionable food quality & the way we were treated, this place is a hard pass. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Sushi was weird tasting & didn't taste fresh. Manager refused to refund the completely uneaten sushi (with one spit out piece on the plate). Uncomfortable conversation.

Endroit agréable & nourriture tres bonne.
Mais déçue au moment de régler... En effet pour le nuy sashimi j'hésitais entre le saumon à 23$ ou le poisson blanc à 26$ ne sachant pas si j'aimais ce dernier. Le serveur me propose de faire moitié/moitié, parfait🤩.
Mais sur l'addition le plat est passé à 36$!
Qu'il passe à 26$ le prix le plus cher des deux me paraîtrait juste, mais encore un 10$ de plus, sans que le serveur l'annonce à la commande... Je trouve cela tres décevant. Quand je lui en ai fait la remarque il a juste soulevé les épaules....

Good food, ordered the 3 courses option. I think my favourite out of all the appetizers was the salad. It was so delicious I wish I could order 5 more after eating it. I also enjoyed both the dessert mousse & the crème brûlée, both were super delicious. Out of the main courses offered, my favourite was the classic. The ambience was great too, the decor is super nice.

Très décevant pour le prix
À 35$ un sushi au homard on s'attend à de beaux morceaux de pinces, mais non c'est le corps super robuste & mal assaisonné
Bière flatte qu'on nous charge même si on la retourne
Reservation au comptoir à sushi, mais on se fait donner une table
Pour 200$ ca vaut vraiment pas le prix
