My daughter & I had a mini getaway to Quebec City for my birthday. This restaurant was highly recommended my locals. I'm gluten free. & not so easy at a Italian restaurant. I was mistaken! Joe was our waiter, & he was fun, kind & made a memorable experience. They brought a delicious cake to wish me a happy birthday with the staff, & the resident musician, who was playing the accordion beautifully throughout our dinner experience. The gluten free Alfredo pasta. Was no joke, the best I have ever had!! It's worth a trip to Quebec City to have it again!

Staff & atmosphere were excellent, my chicken parm was thin & dried out, otherwise a great restaurant, with a very personable accordion player. We'd definitely go back!

Service was amazing.... the food was mediocre, seemed like cafeteria food honestly, the mushroom risotto was very good. I don't believe there's an actual chef on staff... Salad was floppy, soggy.... the accordion was ok if he was on the other side but way too loud if nearby. Chicken piccata was disappointing (no capers even & just bland chicken...we ate it, so at least it wasn't bad. the atmosphere seems a little too circus for us. seems like a place to grab tourists off the street, & they got us. Again, excellent service though. I just wouldn't go back with all of the nicer options around. Sorry to sound negative, just being honest....

Loved the atmosphere but food was just okay at best, & highly overpriced. The veal Parmesan which is their featured dish was almost $40, but hardly had any cheese or tomato sauce on it. The spaghetti that came with it wasn't even that good. If it's any consolation the calamari appetizer was much better & the espresso was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. I asked if they had any affogato (espresso poured on gelato) for dessert but the waiter had no idea what it was. That's as simple of a dessert as it gets. Not sure how they consider themselves as an Italian restaurant based o a few of these points alone. Oh ya one more thing.... the gentleman on the accordion was good which her husband contributed to the atmosphere & also attracting people o to the restaurant. If this is their normal food for this price go elsewhere.

We had the BEST time at this restaurant! The waitstaff were friendly & attentive, including the owner! The food was delicious & the pours were generous. We especially enjoyed the accordion player...& some guests singing along. We will return! I suggest reservations, as this place was packed! PS - the wealth of new & old liquor bottles on display, while initially mind-boggling, was fascinating. Would love to know the history...

Great fun. The strolling accordion player is a good touch. The veal Milanese was OK, but I've had better.
