Restaurant Parmesan was founded by true Italians over 48 years ago. Over the years, Luigi (known to all) has passed on his passion for food and Italian customs such as La Dolce Vita, hot chestnuts in autumn, our traditional balsamic vinegar, our famous homemade prosciutto and many other well-kept secrets. Over the years, Luigi has amassed over 4,000 bottles that are displayed throughout this museum that is Parmesan.

The place has such a cozy vice & adorable charm with all the trinkets around the restaurant. The food was delicious, probably one of the best pizzas I've had. Would come again!

First time we ate at Restaurant Le Parmesan was in 1979 & we have enjoyed visiting every time we visit Quebec City. I especially like the tribute lounge dedicated to Gilles Villeneuve, the incredibly talented Ferrari F1 driver who grew up in nearby Berthierville, Quebec. Tanti grazie a tutti! Merci á toute l'équipe!

The ambiance made it special. However the food was ok at best. I can appreciate that it's still the busy season; however for the price we paid for pasta at this location, make sure the bread you bring at the table is not dried up, butter not so hard, & that the food has been plated all at the same time so that the meal is hot though out. Alfredo sauce tasted like cream only. Lemon picatta chicken, void of capers. Will not return.

I visited yesterday & ordered a live lobster & mussels. The lobster was fresh & delicious, but the mussels were unfortunately not cleaned properly - a few had sand inside. I didn't mention it to the waiter because it was very busy on Saturday night, & I didn't want to wait for another dish. Overall, the atmosphere was lively & enjoyable.
