My lasagna dinner was just that, a piece of lasagna..No bread or salad, just a piece of slightly burnt lasagna, for 29.00. My husband had veal Parmigiano, while the presentation was nice, it came with pasta & some veggies, the Parmigiano was very thin. Not alot for 38.00. The server suggested tiramisu for dessert. It came in a glass, not a piece of cake but a bunch of whipped cream with a little bit of cake particles in the bottom. For 14.00. Not impressed.
Great experience. The food is amazing!! & the portion & freshness... They offer various options for pasta & you can also choose your own if you want. Friendly & professional place

My 3 girlfriends & I went to Portofino for a birthday celebration. The pasta was exquisite, Fernando was serving us, he kept us entertained, & laughing all night. Beautiful location with a cute outdoor patio, great for people watching. We sat outside, & it was lovely. After dinner Fernando surprised us with a cake for our friend & we all sang even people on the street joined in! What a memorable experience, highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!
4 stars...although we ate here twice this past weekend & our first visit was 5 stars! First visit - excellent service & food! We could not wait to return a few days later. On this second visit, service was terrible - long wait to order drinks & food, over 45 min wait after ordering for burned & 2 out of 3 pizzas were burned & overcooked. One pizza & pasta were delicious. One of our drinks didn't arrive until after the food. Pasta was still delicious, we ordered 2 desserts - crème brûlée was wonderful & the "crispy chocolate" was mostly uneaten - I'm not sure what was in the crust but it was soggy & tasted terrible. Then we waited, & waited... our waitress was finally seen with her backpack running out the door. We finally had to track down another server to pay our check. Another table had the same experience - we were there 2 1/2 hours & mostly ignored.
Had a 4:30 reservation booked on google during business Christmas week. Our party included two young children. Staff was very kind & accommodating. Food was hot & flavorful, calamari, escargot, pasta with clams & carbonara all a hit. Warm & cozy, good value for the location.
Friendly service but very slow & pasta portions very small . Lovely appetizer & delicious red wine sangria in a pitcher. We wanted to sit outside but it was too busy. Seating is tight inside!
A very busy restaurant where you would think it would be difficult to serve outstanding meals in such volume. Wow, this was an excellent meal that we were disappointed we finished everything so soon. All the pastas were cooked to perfection. My seafood risotto was truly amazing. Every bite was delicious. The service was excellent & they checked on us frequently. Drinks were replenished was the water. Excellent experience all around.
