Got grilled chicken sandwich & upgraded from fries too a poutine. Little did I know, but the poutine was really small compared to my companies poutine that was not upgraded. Upgraded for $3.99 at that! Thought this was poutineville, where it shouldn't be a upcharge or I should have got a greater amount of poutine. One would think! Left a little bit hungry! The atmosphere was okay buy could have been better. It was really loud from a group of people that were sitting in the corner made for 5-6 people but was sitting 8 or more plus their kids on their laps. Service was good but I was taken back & felt a little awkward when a man dressed as a lady greeted us at the door! I don't care what people want to do with their lives or the pronouns they wish to use but when they are greeters & you aren't expecting that, you kind of make involuntary faces as my group & I may have.
We came here in April 2025 when my son was wanting a poutine.
Initially, I didn't think the menu would be much but I was so surprised to see such an extensive menu. We ended up ordering a big poutine & some drinks.
The flavour, fries, cheese, everything was better than expected.

We were happy & excited to visit poutineville as Poutine is Quebec's signature dish & has vegetarian options but as soon as I entered I was disappointed as we had to wait to get a table & once we got a table there was no one to attend us. We had to call the waitress & she kind of stole the menus from us. We were not even given water for half an hour got it only after we asked for it, & waited for almost an hour for our poutines which were not even served hot.
When asked the waitress about it she replied quite rudely while she was happily attending other tables & serving them quickly (within 5 mins).
We kind of faced subtle racism & were quite disappointed as I took my family there who were visiting from India.
Poutineville you guys can do better, Canadians are known for their politeness please try to be kind & nice to each & everyone 🫶
PoutineVille is the best poutinerie in all of Québec City. Every time that I come here I ensure that I stop by for a lovely Poutine. Their variety is unmatched & the staff are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming by for a delicious bite to eat!
J'suis peut être encore jeune & pas grand explorateur de restaurants, mais c'est le meilleur restaurant que j'ai fréquenté au Québec ou dans vie. L'ambiance, l'espace & les salles de bain (client seulement, bonne idée sanitaire) ne sont pas luxurieux, mais sont juste. Le service & l'attente comparé à autres restaurants est juste. Serveur a bien diverti ma curiosité du format & menu. On peut emporter confortablement si pas fini (Prenez format Méga seulement si vous bodybuildez sérieusement 😅). Mettre le mot Poutine dans le nom du resto fait du Mark, mais c'est diversifié! & Juste l'idée d'une version paperasse d'un buffet est incroyable; Donner une liste d'ingrédients, choisir ce l'ont veux, & l'assiette est cuisiné personnellement. (Format Junior avec un bon nombre de additions fait tout de même une portion raisonnable). Moi qui doit être santé, sans gluten & sans sucre... sincèrement, vous me mettez sur le chemin à re aimer le mot restaurant. Un peu luxurieux pour ma poche, mais si c'est l'occasion; vers Poutineville, Qualité Prix, Coup de Coeur. !!LONGUE VIE!!
Everything about our experience at Poutineville was perfect. The service was wonderful even though we had just gotten off the plane & couldn't hear anything after our ears not popping. I'm sure we were difficult to understand as we couldn't understand them. But they were attentive & made sure we were happy. The food was SO GOOD! We wouldn't have changed a thing. To be honest, we might be going back tomorrow. YUM!

Whether you are a first timer or a regular poutine aficionado, give this place a go. Poutineville offers both authentic traditional poutine as well as creative modern variations of the iconic dish. My wife & I ordered two: their Poutineville House Special as well as their'Sugar Shack' Quebec. Both were quite different & incredibly delicious in their own way. The gravy was on point & the cheese curds had that signature chew. We found both regular sized poutines to be a generous & filling portion for lunch. We also suggest ordering a salad to balance things out a bit. Their excellent staff & clean facilities really round out the experience.
