Claims to offer authentic Asian cuisine but it's far from it. Pad Thai tasted nothing like normal Pad Thai, veggies & spring rolls seemed like they were frozen, & prices were ridiculous for the portions & quality. Aside from that, I will say the service was good & our server was nice & attentive.
Great vegetarian options, enjoyed Pad Thai had fresh vegetables was nice & spicy.
We went in for the advertised $15 lunch in January. Once inside, the elderly lady told us that she only makes those dishes during the summer when people have had a big breakfast & want a light lunch. Before we could say that that was what we wanted, she gave us a long explanation about her tea & how it would warm us up then immediately went into how we needed to start with soup. My partner agreed to go for the won ton soup & I had to insist that I didn't want any. We ordered the pad Thai to share. When the soup arrived, she said that they made it extra large just for us. Both dishes were quite bland & salty. It turned out to be the most expensive lunch we had during our stay at $60!
Another set of customers came in for the luncheon special & we heard the lady pull the same stunt with them. I'm sure that in the summertime, she tells customers that the $15 lunch is only for the winter.
I had the strawberry juice/slush made with strawberries from the Ile d' Orleans. A perfect accompaniment to an excellent & spicy Pad Thai.
We came here for lunch & were greeted immediately. We were able to get a table quickly & the food was prepared pretty quick as well. The owner is very friendly & provided great service. We really enjoyed speaking with her. The Pad Thai is delicious! It is also gluten free. There are other gluten free options available as well. The portion was perfect. I recommend this spot. I left feeling very satisfied with my meal & service. will return again on my next trip to Quebec City!
