Wonderful place for a quiet, intimate meal. Cozy & very relaxing atmosphere. Very nice & kind service (excellent English!). We got the chef's recommendation for 2 & every dish was perfect. The flavours were phenomenal. You can tell the quality of the ingredients & the love the chef put into the dishes - sweet, savoury, umami & slight acidity all played together in harmony in a single bite. Tldr; perfect place for a special occasion & to enjoy a farm to table experience with fresh ingredients.

Un peu déçu de notre expérience dans ce resto. Malgré un très bonne qualité de nourriture & une superbe sélection de vin, il y a un très fort manque d'ambiance chaleureuse à cet endroit. Le service, quoi que sympathique, était un peu froid. Peut-être qu'on a eu un menu moins intéressant que d'autres fois mais c'était bon sans être excellent. Je crois qu'à québec, pour ce prix là, un manque d'ambiance & une nourriture bonne n'est pas suffisant pour se démarquer . Je ne recommande pas considérant les options aux alentours.
It was my first visit to this charming little restaurant, & I had the most delightful dining experience. The chef is incredibly talented & creates delicious dishes using seasonal, locally sourced products. The menu changes regularly based on what's fresh & available. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable about the menu & beverage program. There is no formal wine list, but rather an ever changing selection of low intervention, organic wines, beer & cider which are suggested by the sommeliers. Customers also have the option to peruse available bottles on the wall & bring some home. Orobourous is one of the best dining experiences I've had in Quebec & will undoubtedly become more in demand as others discover this gem. Get there sooner than later! I can't wait to return!
Super beau resto avec cusinie du marché sans prétention qui se démarque par son service hors-pair. Le serveur nous a très bien expliqué le menu & nous a fait découvrir de super bons vins natures. Il connait très bien ses produits. On y est allé pendant la fin de semaine gastronomique de Québec. Le menu 3 service était à 65$, ce qui à mon avis un super bon rapport qualité-prix. Allez y sans hésiter, vous ne serez pas déçu!
This just needs to be on everyone's list for high quality restaurants to enjoy while in Quebec City. It has everything you're looking for: friendly-as-heck folks working there, a comfortable unpretentious space to to relax & enjoy your time, innovative & incredibly delicious food (all sourced to be as local & seasonal as possible), & delightful all natural wines. I would just whole heartedly recommend this to anyone that eats more plant-forward (though a vegan would like have a hard time, still) & frankly to anyone else. If I find myself in this city again I plan on finding myself at this place again. Eat & drink here, friend, you will enjoy it immensely. Cheers!
