It's rare to find a spot where everything-from the food to the people-hits all the right notes. The shawarma & falafel wrap were incredible, but the experience went far beyond just great takeout. We were welcomed with genuine warmth & offered hot tea while we waited. It's the kind of spot where you instantly appreciate the care, heart, & pride they put into what they do. Absolute gem.

Très mauvaise expérience. Nous avons demandé des falafels, mais la serveuse nous a dit qu'il n'y en avait plus & que le restaurant allait bientôt fermer. Nous avons donc commandé autre chose.

Quelques minutes plus tard, deux clients sont arrivés & ont commandé des falafels. La serveuse a complètement changé de comportement : elle leur parlait à voix basse, leur a demandé de changer de place après qu'ils se soient assis à côté de nous, puis a servi leurs assiettes en les cachant de notre vue.

Lorsque je lui ai fait remarquer que nous avions entendu leur commande après leur arrivée, elle a affirmé qu'ils avaient commandé les falafels avant de venir, ce qui n'était pas vrai.

Une autre famille est ensuite arrivée sans qu'on lui mentionne la fermeture prochaine du restaurant.

Le manque de transparence & le traitement différent des clients nous ont vraiment déçus. Je ne recommande pas cette expérience.

This was the best Middle Eastern food I have ever eaten. & definitely some of the best food I had on my trip to Quebec. We love the falafel, which was the best I've ever tried the skewers, the rice, the hummus, & the pita were top-notch. Imen was the most friendly & welcoming server. Highly recommend.

Make sure to bring cash or your debit card. Credit card has an added fee.

This is an unassuming, simple restaurant on a busy street near the old city. The only reason I am giving this restaurant five (5) stars is because I cannot give it 6/5. Imen, the owner (& hostess & cashier & waitress) absolutely makes eating here an experience. She is kind & generous & a real people-person. My shish-taouk platter was the best I ever had, the presentation & the taste were amazing. My wife had the vegetarian platter with falafels & it was equally delicious...my wife & I like to eat here every time we visit Québec city.

Incredible food, incredible service. We arrived in Quebec City on Christmas Day, hoping to find the first open restaurant. I'm glad we found this one. The lady at the counter was super welcoming with her'mon ami's & helped us navigate the menu. The food was amazing as well & fairly priced. We ordered the merguez plate, the harira soup, & the falafel. & the tea is a must have. The next time I visit Quebec City, I'm definitely coming back here.
