Siamo 4 italiani ed abbiamo cenato qui ieri sera. Incuriositi dall'atmosfera particolare siamo entrati, trovando un servizio eccellente e buoni piatti, il tutto accompagnato da un delizioso sottofondo musicale piano bar live. La cameriera che ci ha servito è stata davvero molto carina, scambiando qualche parola con noi e facendoci sentire sempre a nostro agio. Lo consiglio.
We had an amazing experience last night, from the warm welcome when we arrived we knew we had picked the right place for our final night in Quebec! The restaurant is tastefully decorated & there was a live pianist who was amazingly talented, she circulated a book of song requests & invited us to select a playlist which she then worked her way through, much to our delight! The service was faultless, Danielle, Coco & the rest of the team were very friendly & attentive, offering help describing some of the dishes when required. The children asked for some garlic bread, which wasn't on the menu, but this was kindly provided for us, which was a lovely touch! The pasta was fresh & tasted delicious, portion sizes were good & the chocolate cake was really good. We didn't want to leave as we were having such a lovely time, thank you for a great evening & for making us feel so welcome, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

My family was looking for a nice way to end our vacation, & we chose La Scala. As a larger group of 8, we made a reservation. We were seated at a very cool corner table. Our server was awesome; she was an English speaker & helped us make sense of the menu. The manager checked on us, too. Everyone was great! Everyone was happy with their meals, which included dessert. The pianist came around & let people check songs they wanted to hear. No complaints from us! It was an excellent evening.
Belle soirée à deux couples pour un anniversaire de mariage. Nous avons eu un excellent service & notre serveur a mis une touche d'humour tout au long de la soirée. Des plats délicieux avec la table d'hôte & une ambiance parfaite avec le piano man.
Nous sommes allés un lundi soir de juillet & c'était très intime puisqu'une seule section était ouverte.
We took a chance & went to LA Scala without any recommendations from anyone. It was awesome, from Danielle (fellow New Brunswicker) who took our reservation & was our server to the owner & everyone else, including the piano player. The food was really good, the atmosphere was fantastic & the overall experience made our last night in Quebec city something to remember. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic for locals, tourists, anniversaries birthdays - any day you're looking to make memories! (French & English). It's a fun area but will always have parking near by - if you plan on drinking call ahead & they offer a valet service too!
My husband have had the chance to visit this amazing restaurant 3 times over the years - & somehow it gets better every single time. The atmosphere, the food, the incredibly kind staff - it feels like a welcoming home every time.
The restaurant is friendly to English & French speakers, not too loud, & even the food that's out of your comfort zone will leave you dreaming of having it again. I'm not a fish lover, & my husband certainly does have carpaccio on a weekly basis - but both left us wanting more.
We were served by the fantastic Danielle & her assortment of fellas (sorry mates didn't get your names) who were attentive the entire night. They even surprised us with a special song to honor our anniversary!
Now the price is up there for folks like us - but every single time we have found it's worth it. From the music & service to the quality of food, it's worth every penny. You will never forget the night you spend at La Scala.
I had the Table D'Hote with the Tulipe fruit salad, & fresh caught salmon pesto risotto while my husband had the house special Linguone à la Grégoire (which is prepared table side & our pianist matched it with a song!).
We only cried once from their kindness we swear. Ok fine twice.
C'était vraiment le fun on entendais le propriétaire chanté, l'ambiance avec la pianiste live était top,tout à été parfait, quand on retourne à Québec on vas y retourner 🤩🥂☀?👌
A very romantic Italian restaurant with friendly staff! I was splitting a pasta dish with my friend, & they were thoughtful enough to split it onto two separate plates for us to save us the trouble.
Overall, the food itself was average, but it is definitely worth coming here for the wonderful service & a romantic night out.
L'ambiance était super, encore plus grâce au piano live! La nourriture & le servir autant parfaite! Les gnocchis sont à essayer! Le service était excellent, même avec des anglophones dans notre groupe ce n'était pas un fardeau pour personne! Je recommande!!
