Drawn in by the high ratings, but visitors beware!

Great live music & chill atmosphere. Professional & nice staff! Unfortunately, food was a major letdown. It tasted like something I could make at home myself, & no, I'm not a fantastic chef.

A lot of other reviews seemed to share this sentiment of being surprised by the high rating.

Excellente service pour le jour de Noël, la nourriture délicieuse, la seule raison pour laquelle je lui ai enlevé une étoile c'est pcq il fesait froid. Je comprends que nous sommes en hiver, mais le système de calefacción serait à revoir. Merci

Everything we had was fresh, all ingredients were fresh & you could tell every dish was made with love. We enjoyed the pianist who started to play at 7 (19H). We ordered the Bolognese, Marguerita Pizza & the Minestrone Soup. Everything was wonderful, the soup had fresh veggies that were still crisp. The Meat sauce for the Bolognese was special & meaty, hearty with the best tomatoes. The Marguerita pizza was crisp, cooked well & the cheese was perfect. Overall this place is the best for dinner if you're looking for an authentic feel of Italy. The service was welcoming & they offer bread service. Who doesn't love bread? Hello. Can't wait to come back! Gracias

Un 25 décembre inoubliable !!! Nous étions 5 & avons tous pris le filet mignon le meilleur à vie. Resto chaleureux comme le sont les Italiens. Merci au personnel dévoué & tout spécialement au chef & ses cuisiniers vous êtes le coeur de ce magnifique endroit ❤?🎅❤?

Superbe réception pour notre party des fêtes de travail le 13 décembredernier. La nourriture était délicieuse & le service était super considérant que nous étions un groupe de plus de 60 personnes.

Bravo & merci à toute l'équipe du restaurant qui a reçu notre gang d'électriciens. Service exceptionnel !

Nourriture excellente, service absolument impeccable avec Carolanne (toujours disponible, service amical & professionnel) ambiance chaleureuse avec Geneviève au piano (très sympathique & talentueuse). On avait l'impression d'arriver chez des amis pour souper. Ça faisait longtemps qu'on avait pas eu une expérience resto aussi parfaite! Longue vie à la Scala!

Wow, wow, wow! Nous avons eu une soirée parfaite! La nourriture est excellente & le service est incomparable. Le personnel est attentif & souriant & tellement sympathique, & ce, dès le moment où nous avons mis les pieds dans le restaurant, jusqu'à notre départ. Première visite mais pas notre dernière!
