J ai déguster mon sandwich chaud ...mousse louise( végé) avec des fraises ( de l Île d Orléan) & un bon thé glacé pêche , plusieurs option , produits glacé etc / facile à trouve

Stopped in for a quick bite & dessert. The ham & cheese sandwich was alright, simple & satisfying, but nothing particularly memorable.

The gelato was the highlight for me. Smooth, creamy, & full of flavor, making it worth the stop on its own.

Overall, a decent place if you're looking for a quick snack or dessert. Nothing that really blew me away, but the gelato definitely stood out more than the sandwich.

Au 1884, un arrêt incontournable lors de mes visites à Québec! L'endroit est magnifique, au pied du Château Frontenac & avec une magnifique vue sur le fleuve.
L'hiver, on y a notre lot de sensations fortes avec la glissade, suivie d'un délicieux café ou autre boisson chaude, & l'été, c'est le passage obligé pour la MEILLEURE crème molle en ville!
Tout ceci entouré d'un personnel accueillant servant pâtisseries & sandwichs qui ont tous l'air plus délicieux les uns que les autres!

Dufferin sandwich was savoury & sweet, delicious! Staff was very friendly. Very quiet, ate on the top of the kiosk.

Had a lunch here while walking by the chateau. The sandwich I had was ok, ham & cheese on about 6' of baguette. Had the option of warming it, & should have done that. Nothing remarkable, but worked in a pinch. The strawberry lemonade was quite good.

Really good sandwiches. The kids liked the grilled cheese. We found it to be a good stop for a quick lunch on multiple occasions while visiting Old Quebec.
