This was honestly one of the worst meals I have ever had. I genuinely don't understand how this restaurant has a 4.7 average rating - in my opinion, even one star would be too generous.

The tables were sticky & clearly not properly cleaned. The staff member handling the food was not wearing gloves, which was very concerning from a hygiene perspective.

The rice seemed to be reheated in a microwave rather than freshly prepared, & honestly, the whole meal gave me the impression that the food had been cooked much earlier & simply reheated & served. There was absolutely no sense of freshness.

The meat was especially disappointing. It was one of the worst-tasting meats I have ever had. It was heavily covered in a very bitter & unpleasant spice/sauce that completely ruined the taste.

The restaurant was practically empty when we visited, which now makes sense to me.

I really regret spending my money here. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend saving your money & eating somewhere else. I absolutely do not understand the high rating this restaurant has.

My husband & I had a wonderful lunch at Bachir. A meal was fresh & delicious. We will definitely come back if we come back to Quebec. This place definitely has the best Baklava we have ever tasted.
We enjoyed our conversation with the owner.

Everything about this meal was excellent. We had plates with rice, meat, potatoes & salad. They were accommodating of a gluten sensitivity in the party. The food was fresh, tasty & nicely presented. Topped it all off with delicious baklava at the end of the meal. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent falafel, very fresh & shish taouk is full of veggies. Potatoes are great with the garlicky dipping sauce. Also offers Lebanese beer which was a unique pairing, very hoppy. Would eat here again

I can't recommend this restaurant enough! The food was delicious, fresh, made from scratch using quality ingredients. Everyone in my family enjoyed & appreciated every bite. The owner is kind & welcoming, too. If I lived in Quebec City, I would eat here regularly.
