Really good shawarma. Chicken is super moist, which can be rare amongst Shawarma joints. The potatoes were SO good. Super crisp & puffy. This would have been an easy 5-star if not for two reasons: small portions + high prices.

Still, there's nowhere else I'd suggest anyone to eat in this area of Quebec City rather than Bachir. This place is good, & most places are pretty expensive anyways.

The Baklava is also homemade & is very tasty - it's quite sweet though in case you aren't into that.

I recently visited this shawarma spot in Quebec City, & I have to say my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. I chose it because it had a ton of glowing reviews on Google, so I was pretty optimistic going in.

Now, the place is a little tricky to find since it's tucked away in a basement space, & that can make it a bit obscure. Once I did manage to get in, I ran into a bit of a hiccup with their potato options. I wanted fries but they basically have only one way of serving potatoes, sort of like their own wedge style, so if you're hoping for variety, you might be out of luck.

The menu itself is pretty limited. We did get some shawarma, & while it was edible, it wasn't exactly tasty or memorable. Unfortunately, it even left me with a bit of a stomach ache afterward, which was definitely not what I was hoping for.

Overall, I'd say it wasn't a terrible experience, but I really can't see why it's rated so highly. If I were to give it a rating, it'd probably land around a 6 out of 10. So, if you're curious, maybe give it a try, but just go in with modest expectations.

Avec mon conjoint nous avons beaucoup apprécié manger dans ce restaurant. Le personnel est gentil & chaleureux. La cuisine est très bonne, on y ressort rassasié ! À titre personnel je me suis régalée avec le sandwich pita Shawarma, il était bien relevé. Je recommande sans hésiter !
