I've been here for dinner twice now. Each time, the service was excellent & the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff truly make the experience enjoyable.
That said, for the price point, I never quite got the'wow' factor from the food. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out as memorable. I've heard the lunch menu offers much better value, so I may give that a try next time.
In my opinion, this place is slightly overrated when it comes to the food, but the outstanding service & overall experience still make it worth a visit. I'd give it a solid 4.5/5.

Toujours un plaisir d'aller au BustroB. Le chef est original, humain & avant-gardiste. Le staff est toujours excellent & la nourriture succulente. Que ce soit pour un brunch, lunch ou souper, vous vous régalerez!!

Déçu de ma visite au Bistro B « nouvelle formule ». J'ai de bons souvenirs de l'époque où le restaurant servait des assiettes dignes de ce nom. Pour couper les coûts sans doute, on nous propose une formule « tapas ».
Mais en réalité, c'est la réduflation en restauration, des entrées au prix de vraies assiettes. Si au moins la bouchée en valait le prix. Mais non, le flétan était correct & la petite assiette de bison caoutchouteux était insignifiante. La bouchée de foie gras en entrée était anodine. Charmant service, mais on me m'y reprendra plus.

We visited Bistro B for lunch following their Michelin recommendation. The option of a two or three course prix fixe was very reasonable considering the quality & creativity of the dishes. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious! We started by sharing the mussels over a parsley risotto followed by the halibut for me & the prawns for my daughter. Everything was perfectly prepared, accompanied with savory sauces & served at the optimal temperature. We finished with the financier. Arturo was so wonderful & patient, despite my terrible French. He provided a tasting of their 3 Chardonnays by the glass, all of which were delicious. I ended up with the Bourgogne which was an exceptional pairing with the seafood dishes. He also offered recommendations for other restaurants & speak easies in Quebec for us to try. Thank you to him & the entire staff for making this such a memorable experience. I hope to visit again soon. Merci!
